In this DIY, learn how to make a T-Shirt Tote Bag! I show an easy no-sew method, but you could also sew the bottom if you choose. This bag is great for summer trips to the beach! I also show you how to do a few different tie-dye designs. Which one is your favorite?!

The SAME thing happened to my machine too. What you need to do is pop off the bobbin top and take the bobbin out, there should be 2-4 screws, take the little mini flat screw driver that comes with your machine (in the mini tool kit) and unscrew the screws. Take out the part and there's probably extra thread caught in the bottom. Remove that with tweezers/scissors :) let me know if that didn't work

Interesting idea. UA-cam is messing with me. :P I only just saw this video now in my subscription feed. I love Tulip one step dyes. I was initially skeptical the first time I used it about a year and a half or so ago.
I grew up on Rit Dye. I have to say though that I am sold on Tulip and I wish it had been around when I was a teenager and started my tie dye business. :P A year and a half or so later and the five tie dyes I made still look awesome and I wash them with my other clothes with no worries about bleeding.
If I make this I will probably sew it. My sewing machine feels neglected as I don't use it as much as I should. :p

Not trying to be harsh, but you are sounding like a low-key stalker
Um I am not being a salker
My sewing machine did that a while back. Turns out there were some loose threads under the bobbin chassis and it was preventing the needles thread from catching and going under to snag the bobbin thread.
You ca either take the bobbin chassis out if your machine has a tiny screw to do so. If that's not an option try using some of that compressed air to clear it out. And if that doesn't fix it or that doesn't work contact a local quilt store they usually know some good sewing machine repair people. And it's far cheaper to repair than buy new.
I haven't had that problem but I have the same machine as in the video and I have had to unscrew and remove the whole top metal piece where the needle goes down and the bobbin thread comes up because I got fabric/thread jammed bad down in it, so that's a great suggestion to try to make sure nothing's caught in the machine!

That's so cute!! Turned out real good.
Check to make sure that there aren't any threads caught in the bobbin casing. You can also try to remove the needle plate and gently clean under it by blowing air on it. It worked when mine stopped working a few months ago! Good luck :)

Your bobbin winder is probably pushed in and causing you to not be able to sew! I have the same machine! If the bobbin winder is pushed in the sewing machine can't move on the needle position! I know that's probably your problem because it happened to me ! Push you bobbin winder to the metal nob to the left!
I agree, that's probably what it is, but f that doesn't work make sure your bobbin is in properly or check your needle to make sure is all the way up in its holder and secure. Lastly, check your stitch setting. I had this one time where the dial was set in between two different stitch settings and my machine wouldn't work. If none of these work then try taking it to a repair shop and have it checked out. I hope one of these suggestions does the trick. I don't know if anyone told you yet in the comments but I found out from the local sewing machine expert maintenance fixer guy that you are NEVER supposed to turn the nob backwards. like only turn it forwards. When I stopped doing it both ways, like you kinda were in the video to show us it's stuckish, I never had a problem with it getting jammed again. Take out the bobbin and make sure there is nothing stuck in there and then try to thread it all over but without turning the nob the wrong way like towards you. Always go forwards like away from you. Hope this helps!! I love all your videos and I have been watching them since you started soooooooo long ago it seems like. I remember when you would have the funny bloopers at the end when you would be showing off your outfits and stuff. So hilarious :)

if you dont like the tote bag/ dont use it anymore when you get bored of it you could probably untie the knots and use it as a top :) very cute though
