- The Killers - Who Let You Go
Who let you go? Who let you go?
Who let you go? Who let you go?
Who let you go? Who let you go?
Who let you go? Who let you go?
I feel it inside, down in my soul
And I just can't hide things that I know
We could be friends
And I promise that it won't get bad
But hopefully that story ends
But you ain't got nothing I never had
So let's take it slow
Who let you go? Who let you go?
Who let you go? Who let you go?
Someone must have loved you
Not the way that I do...
You're missing what I'm trying to say
Ain't nothing getting in my way
So tell me that's fantastic
And promise me, you'll always sigh
I find it so romantic
When you look into my beautiful eyes
And lose control
Who let you go? Who let you go?
Who let you go? Who let you go?
Who let you go? Who let you go?
Who let you go? Who let you go?
I don't know what it means
But I've been wondering
Who let you go?
And honey, when you walk my way
It makes me wanna say...
Ohhh
Sha-la-la-lo, sha-la-la-lo
Sha-la-la-lo, sha-la-la-lo
we can all agree that they just kick ass!
1. Sam's Town is personally top for me when I listen to it from beginning to end. It feels with it more than any of the others, that every track ties together with the one before and after it. When listening to it they feel like they have go one after the previous one.
Eleven people have nothing else to do besides listen to music they don't like.
um, I knew them a little after they came out with Hot fuzz. thats before sams town, the first album they came out with. and, I knew they before they looked like they were 35 and just came out a time machine looking like they were 20 to begin with. lol.. so yep. it is kind of funny/
If I was a girl, I know who I would have a crush on my whole life. Lol I honestly would go gay for Brandon Flowers. No one else. He has the voice of an angel. He has helped me through so much in my life. Probably wouldn't be here today without The Killers.
Awww that's so cool.
@dreidu but do we agree that Hot Fuss was their best? I mean, all others were great too but Hot Fuss (b-sides included) has a fine mix of teenage spirit pride along with the melancholy that eventually took most of the other album's songs...I still love them but I miss the more light hearted topics even though the lyrics are always very well elaborated. Of course, it's just my opinion, most people seem to enjoy their growth a lot more than I do.
1) Sam's Town
1) Sawdust
2) Day and Age
3) Hot Fuss
I like Hot Fuss a lot less than the other three, simply because their sound isn't cohesive and they're still trying to feel their way through under a pretty heavy 80s sound. I mean, some of the songs are dancable, but you can definitely see the strength the band developed when touring for Hot Fuss in Sam's Town.
Nobody's going to mention that "oh" as 2:18?
Honestly, while I think Hot Fuss was their best album, that's only because it has the most songs that I like. However, the other albums each had a few songs that were really great as well. All in all, what I respect most about their music is that each album seems to have a slightly different sound, so that they have a broad base in terms of sounds.
Regardless of whether or not I'm a fan of the first album, I'm still a very real fan of The Killers and I know they wouldn't be where they are today if they hadn't made it.
Being a fan does not mean worshiping everything an artist touches, rather understanding what the artist is trying to convey and supporting their pursuit of the craft.
for some reason when Brandon sings the lines "who let you go" it doesn't really sounds like him... that or I'm just crazy.
agreed.
and he´s jus the hottest thing lol ;)
hell yea. i've bought all of they're CD's the day they've came out, well the exception of hot fuss. Brandon and I went to the same school, but not at the same time.

1. Sawdust
2. Sam's Town
3. Day and Age
4. Hot Fuss
5. Battleborn
6. Wonderful Wonderful
It's so moving that there's still someone who says ohhhhhhh looking at his girlfriends =)
whoa..such a good song..haunting
@DeanMac7 More like
1. Hot Fuss
2. (very close) Sam's Town
3. Sawdust
4. Day & Age
Day & Age was all too processed and i didn't really get that much emotion or energy from it like with their old stuff. I think these will say it all:
There ain't no motive for this crime. Jenny was a friend of mine.
and
My lips, they don't kiss. They don't kiss the way they used to and my eyes don't recognize you anymore!
I agree, Sam's town is the best. Then hot fuss, then Sawdust, then day and age. Brandon has a retardedly beautiful voice and sam's town shows that the best imo. They rock covers too. Four winds!!!oh yeah!!!! awesome. Replaceable, while not a cover, it's an amazing song....
I heard them when they were promoting Hot Fuss, but I see what you mean. Although in the end, shouldn't we be happy that they did find the Killers? Just cause they didn't hear about them before anyone else did, doesn't mean they can't be any less impacted by the music. Killers forever
/sigh I miss the Hot Fuss era of the Killers. They used to be my favorite band until they released Day & Age. Spaceman was amazing but the rest of the album was iffy. But i miss this garage, trashy pop rock. =[
Am I the only one who thinks they sound like Weezer at the beginning? Well, not the *doo doo doo* part, but when he's singing "Who let you go..ect."
Either way, The Killers are amazing and I love them.
=)

can you please tell me what this songs talking about please? the meaning i mean, if you can message me that'd be perfect
@humandancer No they're just people who agree with you, everyone has their own opinion on which album is their favourite, people who think your a moron are the killers true lovers
Hot fuss 1? No you pre-teen pop lover.
1.Sawdust
2.Day and age
3.Sam's Town
4.Hot fuss because it was cool to bump when I was like 14. All their other stuff is more mature.
isin'i kinda funny?
everyone claims to have known them ages before they were famous
I guess you all know them since Sams Town
Please correct me if im wrong
i agree with him completely. but i think they're all great. killers are fucking amazing. actually i might put sams town above sawdust at least.
@DeanMac7 No, It's more like this:
1. Day & Age
1. Sam's Town
1. Hot fuss
1. Sawdust
1. That live album
personally, i think sams town is their top album.
but i love all the other albums as well.
and this song, i just looove!
@dreidu ...cant agree with either of you...each killers album is better than the other one!!!!
1. Hot Fuss
2. Sams town
3. Sawdust
4. Day and Age
thats just my opinion
I think they're picking they're favorites.....not the order.....
@DeanMac7 you cant rank their albums there all fucking great :)
Someone must have loved you
Not the way that I do... fav part
wow, why so much hate for Sam's Town? IMO their best album.
I simply love every thing! But from which CD is this?
They should let go of their songwriter.
So did I lol, i'm a killers original i guess lol.
@madhattertophat i only agree i actually like them all... different, sure but everyone has its thing... now for me there isn't music that makes just freaking think about things like dustland fairytale but in the begin it didn't make much sense, i think it's just a mather of states of mind
Thank you sorry I fergot that for a second!!!
WHO LET YOU GO?!?!
i love this band!!!!!!!!!
this song is on the new Sawdust album!!!!!
it makes me wannnnna sayyyyy
ohhhhh
Hot Fuss
Sams Town
Sawdust/Day and Age
brandon flowers FTW!!!
2. Day and Age
3. Hot Fuss
I feel when I'm listening to any of the albums at the time, that they can't get much better and it has to be the best one
and Sawdust is an incredible collection too.
They can be proud to have created tracks that are so strong they are able release them as an album on their own.
SHALALALAAAAAAA!!!!!!
can't agree at all...
sam's town way, way better, then day & age
I can't stop Thinking about them sins I've seen them live here in South Africa!!! They're like the only thing I listen to!! O end BTW thank you!!
SHALALALA!!!!!!
@keyboardqueen98 agreed
Hey, thanks for sharing some lesser-known Killers stuff. If you've got more, bring 'em on, and I'll keep rating.
