John was big here in Australia....I remember being in my early teens in the 80s and being introduced to his music, seeing this reminded me of how good his songs were.

Back in the 80's, I thought of John as a "poor man's Springsteen", but John is the real thing, and Springsteen's the poser. Top 5 American songwriter, and a string of classic albums as good as any.

That was the song that made me love him, and I've been a fan since '79. His music has grown with him.
So I am not the only one that thinks ain’t even done with the night is one of his best songs.
