So many interesting buildings really cool that a lot of them are still open and in use! Pretoria is often over shadowed by Johannesburg but is in much better condition
I have been in love with this city, in particular with the churche square, for such a long time. Pretoria or Tswanne as you prefer, is a tranquil, cozy, cool, tidy, fantastic... and inviting city. Finally, Tswanne is otherwordly! Greetings from Luanda-Angola
One thing I like about my PTA is all the history is preserved though we had small problems about the city hall it was revived and it's still beautiful, fencing around the property was a good move cause homeless people were destroying it,all in all Pretoria remain my favorite.
Nice to see some work being done to clean that historic area up a bit. It's been a long time since I was in that area - I used to buy my monthly bus tickets there in the 90s. This is the first time I ever saw inside any of the building though - really interesting. The tram system used to run all the way up to the Union Buildings apparently. It ran down past the state theatre and Sammy Marks square on towards Arcadia apparently. Many years before my time though.
Clean my ass 😂 DA has been running it for 8 years now and it still looks just as bad as it did when the ANC was running it. They don’t care for it like they do with Cape Town
If only the Unions can tell their members to do their work and clean the streets, and all South Africans pay their rates properly, immigration and homelessness controlled our cities can be the best in Africa!
Do you have more info on these buildings, architect, period construction, erection, building material used and were sourced. Perhaps a website. Regards.
You forget that the ANC and EFF keep voting out the DA mayors in what should be illegal “motions of no confidence”. Once the DA wins a majority in these cities then you’ll see proper change like in Cape Town
Our big Nigeria African brother, still challenge the RSA...the only thing SA can do is just laughed 😂..and shake its heads...We sad no big brother, South Africa dont compete with our African Brothers, We challenge the big third World Giants ...🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pretoria ranks higher than Johannesburg in every crime category. In fact Pretoria is the most dangerous city in the country and among the top 10 most dangerous in the world
@@yourfriendlyneighbourhoods8202 Correct. I'm always surprised when people claim that PTA is safer than Johannesburg. They can fool those who don't know, I have relatives living there and stayed there throughout my undergraduate studies. Crime is rampant in PTA, it's rotten to the core. Car theft, house breaking, shoplifting and all sorts of other things. Everyone in SA likes giving Joburg the bad rap by default, but we know the real deal.

There's a place almost like this in Ukraine (kiev)

The DA has left our beautiful capital to suffer in filth
Same in Ekurhuleni. I wonder what exactly this DA is good for... or perhaps they're being sabotaged? I don't know.

Nigeria may have a bigger economy than SA but it’s still a filthy underdeveloped shithole. That’s why so many Nigerians come to South Africa illegally
Pretoria is saver than Johannesburg CBD
Lots of shoplifters there too.

PTA CDB for the win 🏆. In JHB, you wouldn't even be able to record 😅
Not true, he's done numerous tours in the Joburg CBD and was able to record, no problems.
