I am riding the Trip since December. Also in Quiver smaller Rush2 and a Radical 138.
The trip is very playfull and smooth. The bindings are best on market... you dont get stuck in them for board off and super comfy!
The board is incredibly thick I thought they are joking at first but that has no negative effect.
On my 1st session I almost broke my Woo record and was constantly in 15m High..... great board.

It definitely has more range than the NHP split and I agree the bindings are super soft. It’s a little heavier than I’d like in a travel board and I still don’t like the fancy fins but overall I’m very impressed. Haven’t gotten to take it out powered up yet but looking forward to it.

@@adventure-logs Jason, thanks for the vid man! Please share your impressions after you get to ride it. Have you tried or seen ConceptX split boards?

The trip is So heavy. The Trip 142 with straps is heavier than the flying carpet with straps! The Flysplit 2 was awesome board that my wife used for travel and also light wind. This thing is WAY too heavy. Would rather travel with a regular board especially with airlines dropping surfboard extra fee.
After wife lost her Flysplit 2 got her a Nobile Carbon split and I got myself the split foil since it has standard foil mount on the bottom. Just added anti-slip hex stickers on top and a foot hook to the front to help get on the board when using the split foil for foiling with Moses foil. The split foil is heavy cuz of the foil mounts but at least I can still use it when the wind is very light.

you mean the absolutely worthless, over engineered, unnecessary fins? The ones that won't allow you to lay the split pieces flat without having to unscrew the very difficult to unscrew base pieces? Completely the wrong decision for a splitboard.
