Really enjoyed hearing your story. I was a Brookes boy myself, although quite a few years earlier! Very keen runner now and really enjoying your videos.
OMG This is GREAT! Such a great vlog, it was brilliant to watch and SO inspiring - I'm going out for a run NOW! Can't wait to keep following your progress - bring on the full Ironman next year Nicola...you've got this! Tina x
Hi Tina!! Thank you so so much for watching! Appreciate the support! Great work on getting out for a run 😊 Hopefully see you / catch up soon. Hope all is well with you. Nic xxx
Helen said I got a mention. So had a watch. You did really well riding 200km when your previous longest was about 100km. No tantrums, you just got low on energy at times. You should see how grumpy some audaxers get when tired. Some snacks and a short break soon sorted that out. It was winter as well. So remember that when training for the 180km ride in an iron man. You’ve already ridden the distance, done it in winter, with the last 3.5 hours or so after sunset.
Thank you!! It was a memorable day but all for good reasons 😊 would love to do another one with you. Perhaps in tshirt and shorts weather!? Hope you're doing alright. Thank you for watching!! Appreciate it. It's a long one but wanted to document it for me really. Aiming to stick to shorter vids now 😊👍🏻 lots of love. N xxx
@@NicBen Summer ones are so much easier. Winter miles count double. I’m doing a 300km audax with midnight start if you fancy something different on August 7th. Curry beforehand all being well. It’s actually a route check for an audax I’m organising the weekend after. You’ll just need some lights to last 5 hours and some layers till sunrise arrives. 24hr McDonalds in middle of night. The healthy diet option 😛
