The SIM1C is pretty convenient because it operates during all off peak hours (including overnight) and it serves Eltingville which is a pretty busy area.
On Wednesday, 8/22/2018, I experienced for the first time the new SIM1C route, and it was very picturesque, and I really enjoyed the scenery. The commute from Eltingville to Columbus Circle was amazing.
Thank you MTA, you guys have provided more service within Staten Island and Manhattan. It has been great to experience Staten Island, and I could not have done it without these buses. Now my chances of being left stranded at the Staten Island Mall are lower than before.
LuLuBell The MTA just tweeted that the 5x and 6x will now stop in New Dorp, specifically Hylan/Tysens and Hylan/Lincoln before stopping at the South Brach Park and Ride so no Park and Ride at New Dorp
It's convenient that there are two off peak routes to Midtown from Eltingville Park and Ride. The SIM1C and the SIM4C. It's iffy deciding on which one to take but the SIM4C gets you to Manhattan faster but the SIM1C is less crowded at Eltingville Park and Ride. Also, the SIM1C has overnight service but the SIM4C has a longer nonstop section.

I honestly think that the South Beach Park and Ride is redundant. Barely anyone rides the SIM5x and the SIM6x because it's only skipping 3 stops

Sim 6 325 rock center Nelson and amboy 435 every day since start of new service and I walk over from Lexington Avenue

It is really nice to have the SIM2 in service, because now there is more frequent service between Downtown Manhattan and Tottenville Staten Island.
One of my friends takes the Express Bus into Manhattan and she said that the new routes are much faster than they used to be.

Sim 6 got on at 325 at 51st and 5th was on Nelson and amboy 435 PM has been the same all week and yes I walk the extra blocks from Lexington Avenue
