Bought these last week - had fun just playing around just getting to knowhow they work. Probably obvious to people who already know Painter - but not to me at the time. - your canvas resolution does made a difference. I started with the default new canvas page and the RXY Streak multi looked like tram lines. Switch to 300dpi and they look and perform like they do in the video. How you hold your pen makes a difference too. Great value brushes - yeah I know they're free but it doesn't hurt to put your hand in your pocket for something as useful as these brushes.

These were a bit laggy so I went into preferences, general and checked simplified brush resizing control (legacy style) also unchecked create back up save and show using audio expression dialog box then go to brush cursor and set cursor type to brush ghost. now they work perfectly. hi Roxane thanks for all you do. Can you tell me why when I try to make the brush "streak multi" smaller it becomes one line kinda looks like a noisy pencil. Is there something in the settings I could do. thanks again for everything I have all the brushes as a pallet and saved them as a BOX file so I will always have them. your 5 part series on creating brushes has really cleared things up for me...
Hey Paulie. No problem :) RXY Multi Streak is a Dynamic Speckle brush, so if you make the brush size smaller it keeps the bristles at the same thickness and size and thus merges them into one. In the dynamic spackle panel, you need to increase the count and decrease the size to account for this. For convenience, I've gone ahead and made a smaller version of the brush and included it in the pack, so if you re-download it, you'll be getting version 1.1, and the brush you're looking for is RXY Multi Streak Small. Thanks for bringing up this limitation. I always work on huge canvases, so wouldn't have come across that issue on my own.

Gumroad can be a little tricky if you're not familiar with it, so let me talk you through it:
- Go here: roxanelapa.gumroad.com/l/corelpainterbrushes-painting
- Just above the turquoise coloured "I want this!" button, you will see an amount field.
- Type 0 in the field (or another amount of you want to donate)
- Click the turquoise button to download

I have tried to locate your free Painter brushes on the two site you gave us. I am new to Painter although I have 2015 to 2020. My system is maxed out with Painter 2020.
I have been using Photoshop for years and just can not make the transition.
I appreciate the knowledge and time you have made with the UA-cam videos. Thank you for sharing.

Quite a few have managed to download it so I can only imagine GumRoad must have been having an issue at the time. I think GumRoad sends you an email with the link as well. Otherwise, perhaps try put a zero in the amount field and try again. Please let me know if you keep having issues, so I can bring it up with GumRoad.
