Richie Kotzen - People you need to educate your self about this guy... He Shreds, Blues, Rock, Jazz, Fusion and sings like Chris Cornell (That's a super rare package).. You want Instrumental rock music? check his first 3 albums, you want jazz fusion? check his "Tilt" album with Greg Howe and his own "Inner Galactic Fusion Experience" album.. Check his work with Poison and Mr. big if you want to be completely blown away.
@@RingOfRae Completely different musicians ... But, to my taste, Kotzen is much more complete as a musician than Cornell, but, that's taste. It depends on each person. in my opinion, he does more than write songs, he composes songs. That's the difference for me.

He has another album with Greg Howe. It's called "Project".
Been a big fan since I was a kid. Now I got family, richie Kotzen still rocking. Big motivation for my life... Yes ppl need to wake the fuck up, smack the local djs tell them play some real music..!!!!
That's one of the things I love about Paul, he is such a guitar nerd, every time he's even around the instrument he looks ridiculously excited. What a cool dude
George Lynch is freaking brilliant. If I dont watch the screen and just listen to his tone... The small things he does is skilled, tasteful and on the right spot. Rock on guys :)
I know! And Bret said....I kicked him out! That proved exactly what a doofus Bret is. He couldn't sing a Kotzen song. He had to get a fucking choir to help him. If you don't know the song I'm talking about, it's Stand.
actually he didnt take it for money the deal was that he be a part of songwriting thats why native tongue was so mature if he would have to play poison music of old he would of declined:)
it's always amazing: 3 guys with the electrical guitar and each and every one of them has a TOTALLY different language to offer - all 3 of them are insanely gifted artists. geetar forever!
I used to watch in amazement when Richie played with Arthur’s Museum at the Silo when he was 15ish. What a talent. And it’s great to see 2 Pennsylvania boys wailing on stage together with legend George Lynch. 👍🏼
I had the immense luck of talking to him twice and I can assure you he really is a down to earth guy. He is so humble, calm, such a great listener and he doesn't give the impression of showing he is better than you about anything at any moment (even though he is... at least in one thing). I'm just talking about my personal experience here... just in case someone had a bad experience with him... He is my favourite guitar player of all times (sorry Jimi)
What a great jam. Not a weak performance among them. Each brought such a cool taste and contribution to the table. Nice to see them all play raw and free to explore ideas on the fret board. What a showcase. Thanks for whomever posted this!
What a performance by a trio of guitar players, with unique and different styles but when together an almighty cohesive harmony take's center stage. Welcome GTR PFA !!
Paul is having the most fun for sure. Richie is the probably the best out of the three but George is just too memorable. And Paul has the most infectious personality!
Kotzens amazing, check out his covers of all along the watch tower and Sara smile. The guy can sing! And of course his playing is unreal, the dude plays a telecaster like nobody else ever has.
you're in the internet... people here don't know how to enjoy things... specially the beautiful ones like these 3 amazing guitar players having that much fun
He has Put out Like 5 Albums in like the Last 3 years,& Now he's in FULL THROTTLE with Lynch Mob, Kicking Ass and Taking Names,I Don't see Gilbert & Kotzen Doing Shit, Lynch is Touring like Crazy IN THE USA,Brazil, and Overseas(Japan). Also has his project Shadow Train, and an Album Coming out with T&N,with Lynch,Pilson, and Mick Brown,Aside from making his MrScary Guitars, Shit he's the Hardest working Guitarist in the Buisness and to many the Best an ICON too MILLIONS..His Career is BOOMING AGAIN
@asiat30 I think George feels and loves the music so much he is in his own world. He isn't there for the fame, but for the artistic value and freedom of expression he can demonstrate in this setting. When Gilbert wants everyone to celebrate for him, he kind of turns away for that reason I think.. Notice when he was introduced even he had his head down. Maybe he thought he wasn't worthy, or beating himself up over his performance? Either way he is definitely great!
Yeah!! Yeah!! Richie is a beast but the true god here is Paul, he not just make incredible lick he mantain the ecense of the original song running by the all guitar arm , richie the novice and george a legend just trow a bunch of note, sounds good? Yes, but that not all
If PG would take his headphones off he would realize that it doesn't sound as good to us as it does to him...don't get me wrong, technically he is superior...but Kotzen has a much better tone! IMHO
Eddie went Limelite with all that Hammeron Shit, and it's all Common Vocam to all guitarist now Days, and Lynch is known for a FACT to be the one years ago to stat the Hammerons and Eddie saw him play and Really liked it and went Crazy with it,Listen to George's tapping techiniques so much more advanced than Eddie could ever Play. Man you have not dug deep into years back and done your homework on who begin with what and who was the Main one responsible for the becoming of material.
I wouldn't pick favorites between PG and Kotzen. Both tremendous players. Yeah I think Kotzen might have 1 up on PG in some areas, but I think PG seems to be getting better every album he releases.
over this same chord progression, check out Ty Tabor with Kings X, he really rips all this guys off! I have a lot of respect for this three here, but Ty is the best with this kind of thing, so underrated...
U got to be outta ur freaking mind to even mention George in the same sentence as EVH. OMG, ED brought all this to the table to talk down about him is just wrong. George Lynch said in an interview that "Eddie was doing stuff at 15 yrs old that I can't do today" thats a direct quote from George ,look it up.You can check out the video's of Ed's solo's in like 75& 76 and freaking 2 yrs later RANDY and George were trying to use them in there routines. Thats a fact check out the older clips.
what the hell is George Lynch doing beside trying to sell some shitty over price guitars? I think Gilbert is Japan's favorite guitarist with him being over there a whole lot more than Lynch. There is a ton of video's with Gilbert being in Japan and on TV there. Can't seem to find any with Lynch except like 3 which was with Dokken.
In all video, why George Lynch look like uncommunicative. At 4.05min to 4.10min, Paul Gilbert look like sad for George Lynch. At 4.07min to 4.18, Ritchie Kotzen come to George Lynch but, nothing... George Lynch is closed. It's sad.
I am a guitar player who started in the 80's and I can assure you that Lynch has always had a large legion of critics. I never cared for his note choice and cringed at his frequent off key forays when playing live. He is the product of 50% hype and 50% skill. In this video he is out of his league
+Scott Waszak I agree that he isn't on the same plane but just as talented. Just needs to change up sounds and licks here and there and he would be one of the greats.
Richie Kotzen - People you need to educate your self about this guy... He Shreds, Blues, Rock, Jazz, Fusion and sings like Chris Cornell (That's a super rare package).. Check his work with Poison and Mr. big if you want to be completely blown away.
Don't forget "Change", also good album. If you want to get a bit dark songs, get "Into The Black". What a gift man.
if only he could write songs as good as Chris Cornell did... helas!
@@RingOfRae Completely different musicians ... But, to my taste, Kotzen is much more complete as a musician than Cornell, but, that's taste. It depends on each person. in my opinion, he does more than write songs, he composes songs. That's the difference for me.

Richie Kotzen is far beyond the shallow shredder cliché, he is the real deal for me as a fan and musician.
Ivo Stan Gilbert could have kicked ass... He didn't wanna steal the show bro!
I love how Paul enjoy other player's solo.
That's one of the things I love about Paul, he is such a guitar nerd, every time he's even around the instrument he looks ridiculously excited. What a cool dude
Richie is more than musician and shredder, is a genius.
George Lynch is freaking brilliant. If I dont watch the screen and just listen to his tone...
The small things he does is skilled, tasteful and on the right spot. Rock on guys :)
Liked all 3 solos, but if I had to pick one, i'd say richie's solo was the most tasteful of the 3
Kotzen in Poison...what a fucking joke; like a maestro playing with a bunch of kazoo players.
+Scott Waszak Dude, that was funny...
It's called "money".
I know! And Bret said....I kicked him out! That proved exactly what a doofus Bret is. He couldn't sing a Kotzen song. He had to get a fucking choir to help him. If you don't know the song I'm talking about, it's Stand.
Your correct on that Tammy and Mark ! Richie Kotzen Rules for me !
actually he didnt take it for money the deal was that he be a part of songwriting thats why native tongue was so mature if he would have to play poison music of old he would of declined:)
it's always amazing: 3 guys with the electrical guitar and each and every one of them has a TOTALLY different language to offer - all 3 of them are insanely gifted artists.
geetar forever!
Kotzen the badass all rounder, Lynch the oldie veteran who still has it, Gilbert the college music professor who is secretly one heck of a master
Kotzen has tasteful motifs and eargasmic phrasing!
WOW PABLO GILBERTOOOOOO what a great band here with Kotzen and Lynch
3 kickass solos but Paul's solo for was my favorite one, what a shredder yet with a lot of feelling! Paul Gilbert is a true legend!
Kotzen owned the tone that night.
Jesus. This is magic.
Three great guitarists on one stage. Awesome!
RK is too good.
I used to watch in amazement when Richie played with Arthur’s Museum at the Silo when he was 15ish. What a talent.
And it’s great to see 2 Pennsylvania boys wailing on stage together with legend George Lynch. 👍🏼
George Lynch most memorable solos ever
Three master's paying homage to a classic track by the great Peter Frampton !!
Strait killer !!!

I'm just talking about my personal experience here... just in case someone had a bad experience with him...
He is my favourite guitar player of all times (sorry Jimi)
Richie! Soooo good. Also those single string guitars REALLY cut through the mix much better than the Ibanez.
Wow. just wow/ The tree guitarist from who I learned to play from,.....thank you to all 3..
What a great jam. Not a weak performance among them. Each brought such a cool taste and contribution to the table. Nice to see them all play raw and free to explore ideas on the fret board. What a showcase. Thanks for whomever posted this!
richie kotzen , what a musician
Kotzen is excited to play with other guys))) I love him!
He's so Good I'd like to be related,.......😊😊😉!!
Richie's one of the best kept secrets in music!! He's got it 👍👍👌😁
3 of my favourite guitarists... but lynch gives style lessons to us all!
I was there, what a night!!
What a performance by a trio of guitar players, with unique and different styles but when together an almighty cohesive harmony take's center stage. Welcome GTR PFA !!
Gilbert and Kotzen Idolize Lynch for the Guitar God that he is!
Richie's idol is Prince.
You totally missed the point! But I get you!
love this :)
Paul is having the most fun for sure. Richie is the probably the best out of the three but George is just too memorable. And Paul has the most infectious personality!
Kotzen schooled them all on this one good tone man
love the intro by kotzen! watched this 100 times already!
Lynch brain is fried man.. Gilbert & Kotzen are True Masters!
Why is his brain fried ?
that's why people always say, if you like paul, you gotta like his personality =)
I could watch this all night....It makes me want to light up a big cat-leg joint and sit back and listen...and I havent smoked in 20 years
Kotzens amazing, check out his covers of all along the watch tower and Sara smile. The guy can sing! And of course his playing is unreal, the dude plays a telecaster like nobody else ever has.
Love it. Beats shredding any day. Meaningful meandering
you're in the internet... people here don't know how to enjoy things... specially the beautiful ones like these 3 amazing guitar players having that much fun
Yes, Kotzen is kind of in his own league. An unfair amount of talent was allocated to that dude.
It's about time Frampton gets some of the love he deserves
A musical family tree!! Awesome!
5:31/5:35 what a phrase 🔝
+Antonio Sabato saw this comment and knew what you were talking about without checking the time. holy shit.
+BoomBoomPeanuts that's how lead guitar sounds like. imo
@@antoniosabato766 robo future vibe in a bluesy song while still making it sonically valid, only PG
Paul is a God
Great solos by all three.
Outfuckingstanding Richie!!
Yes, he must really have had to dumb it down while in Poison. He is the real deal,it turns out.
There is a God, Richie Kotzen be thy name.
my god, superbe!
Such different sounds from these guys....lots of jams have dudes who blend too much. This is cool shit. ✌️
Great night!
A real G3❗🎸💣💥
I love PG but Richie Kotzen is just the man....Nuff said
OH MY
if this were a competition, the clear cut winner were the fans
Lynch is very good here !
There all great guitar players- I like Ritchie the best though because he is also a great singer.
The tour when Lynch got schooled and outclassed
Absolute ear candy
no question ... everyone counting notes in a second should watch David Shankle or Vinnie Vincent. These three represent musical artistry.
ritchie kotzen just smiled at PG's fingers wahahahaha that god level of skills ..i love kotzen though..
@asiat30 I think George feels and loves the music so much he is in his own world. He isn't there for the fame, but for the artistic value and freedom of expression he can demonstrate in this setting. I' love Richie Kotzen and is this his son with the long hair ? I'm loving it !!!
lol no I know it's late but that was touring bassist for Paul Gilbert mr. Mike Szuter
Yeah!! Yeah!! Richie is a beast but the true god here is Paul, he not just make incredible lick he mantain the ecense of the original song running by the all guitar arm , richie the novice and george a legend just trow a bunch of note, sounds good? Yes, but that not all

PG uses his headphones to protect his ears. One ear is almost deaf.
Paul had his hero/friend Shawn Lane play keys at his wedding!
I wish I could...
Frank Hannon of Tesla already conquered this one!
george benson in rock!
glad2c George showin how it iz done,,,,,a strat Richie???......Pauls awesome too........its a Tie ballgame
damn i need this backing track
Do you feel like we do,,, were those the words from Paul and Richie to Lynch?
Hey Jim, thanks for subscribing to my UA-cam channel. Are you the same Jim I met at the strawberry music festival?
Hey Theo!, yes this is Jim Anderson from the Strawberry music festival.
I must say they like FRAMPTOM!!!
I feel ya man, I've put my axe down many a time after watching some riff from our rock Gods! Just makes ya feel so fucking sick
Paul seems to be a nice guy!

does george lynch ever smile?
Very enjoyable solos. Not only stupid shredding with 2000 notes per second
its actually the fender esquire and it is wierd to see one of those in general
4:56 style kotzen
I wouldn't pick favorites between PG and Kotzen. Both tremendous players. Yeah I think Kotzen might have 1 up on PG in some areas, but I think PG seems to be getting better every album he releases.
why is gilbert wearing the headphones? does he have a hearing defect and needs them the monitors?
Richie is THE best there is.
over this same chord progression, check out Ty Tabor with Kings X, he really rips all this guys off! I have a lot of respect for this three here, but Ty is the best with this kind of thing, so underrated...
Does Kirk Hammett watch this and think.he is the luckiest human who has ever lived

I so love Richie, but he shouldn't have let George follow him. Big mistake! And then Paul just fuckin tears it up as well.
