Richie Kotzen - People you need to educate your self about this guy... He Shreds, Blues, Rock, Jazz, Fusion and sings like Chris Cornell (That's a super rare package).. You want Instrumental rock music? check his first 3 albums, you want jazz fusion? check his "Tilt" album with Greg Howe and his own "Inner Galactic Fusion Experience" album.. Check his work with Poison and Mr. big if you want to be completely blown away.
@@RingOfRae Completely different musicians ... But, to my taste, Kotzen is much more complete as a musician than Cornell, but, that's taste. It depends on each person. in my opinion, he does more than write songs, he composes songs. That's the difference for me.

He has another album with Greg Howe. It's called "Project".
Been a big fan since I was a kid. Now I got family, richie Kotzen still rocking. Big motivation for my life... Yes ppl need to wake the fuck up, smack the local djs tell them play some real music..!!!!
And Paul ALWAYS looks like he's having more fun than anyone else. I think that's why he's remained my favorite for so many years, there's tons of amazing guitarists out there, but no one has more fun than Paul
That's one of the things I love about Paul, he is such a guitar nerd, every time he's even around the instrument he looks ridiculously excited. What a cool dude
I have too many playlists to count and each with an average of 150 songs, but since discovering Richie Kotzen about a year ago, it’s difficult to listen to anything else. I’m always discovering another song by him 😊. He also covers a lot of my favorites. I really feel as if there are no words to describe his talents. He is a true gift to all of us in so many ways.
George Lynch is freaking brilliant. If I dont watch the screen and just listen to his tone... The small things he does is skilled, tasteful and on the right spot. Rock on guys :)
it's always amazing: 3 guys with the electrical guitar and each and every one of them has a TOTALLY different language to offer - all 3 of them are insanely gifted artists. geetar forever!
all phenomenal guitar players but I have to say that I think Richie is my favorite out of them. his soloing seems like it has more feeling to me. would've loved to be at this show to the these 3 greats duke it out
Been a big fan of Paul Gilbert since the early 90's , and Richie since about 5 years, never listened to George Lynch, and have to say the solo that George Lynch laid down was abosolutely gobsmacking.
It is always amazing to me to see the impact that Frampton has had on so many guitar players including me,but when the conversation comes up about the most influential guitarist of all time his name is always overlooked. That song alone inspired a whole generation of guitar players.
I used to watch in amazement when Richie played with Arthur’s Museum at the Silo when he was 15ish. What a talent. And it’s great to see 2 Pennsylvania boys wailing on stage together with legend George Lynch. 👍🏼
I had the immense luck of talking to him twice and I can assure you he really is a down to earth guy. He is so humble, calm, such a great listener and he doesn't give the impression of showing he is better than you about anything at any moment (even though he is... at least in one thing). I'm just talking about my personal experience here... just in case someone had a bad experience with him... He is my favourite guitar player of all times (sorry Jimi)
Lynch is the Greatest,He wasn't Beating himself up He is very Humble, and is at a time in his Life where his Career is going Better than Gilbert and Kotzen,Lynch is on Fire he has so many projects going on I don't see how he gets sleep..Shit man Lynch is the Man Hands Down! He's so Past keeping up with the Jones's per say. He is the Genuine Article!!
I love the way around the 4:45 mark Gilbert starts losing himself in the solo and Kotzen starts feeling it and gives that knowing smile around 5:00...everyone gets in...
What a great jam. Not a weak performance among them. Each brought such a cool taste and contribution to the table. Nice to see them all play raw and free to explore ideas on the fret board. What a showcase. Thanks for whomever posted this!
What a performance by a trio of guitar players, with unique and different styles but when together an almighty cohesive harmony take's center stage. Welcome GTR PFA !!
I prefer Richie as a musician, but Paul Gilbert makes ever the hardest phrases look so insanely easy it just makes me want to put my guitar down permanently. I'll tell you one thing, I'd never pick up a guitar if I was in the same building as Paul.
Paul is having the most fun for sure. Richie is the probably the best out of the three but George is just too memorable. And Paul has the most infectious personality!
some of these comments make you laugh , he's the best , no he's the best lol , just 3 great guitarists all with different styles playing some fantastic melodic guitar with a great groove , and an perfect tune to pick up your guitar and play along too .
you're in the internet... people here don't know how to enjoy things... specially the beautiful ones like these 3 amazing guitar players having that much fun
Kotzens amazing, check out his covers of all along the watch tower and Sara smile. The guy can sing! And of course his playing is unreal, the dude plays a telecaster like nobody else ever has.
I know! And Bret said....I kicked him out! That proved exactly what a doofus Bret is. He couldn't sing a Kotzen song. He had to get a fucking choir to help him. If you don't know the song I'm talking about, it's Stand.
actually he didnt take it for money the deal was that he be a part of songwriting thats why native tongue was so mature if he would have to play poison music of old he would of declined:)
No VALKOUR, You need to watch and Listen to Lynch Fucking Rip the Hell out of the Guitar with Pure feel and Soul Behind it..He's a Fucking ICON, Way above Gilbert and Kotzen can ever Imagine.
He has Put out Like 5 Albums in like the Last 3 years,& Now he's in FULL THROTTLE with Lynch Mob, Kicking Ass and Taking Names,I Don't see Gilbert & Kotzen Doing Shit, Lynch is Touring like Crazy IN THE USA,Brazil, and Overseas(Japan). Also has his project Shadow Train, and an Album Coming out with T&N,with Lynch,Pilson, and Mick Brown,Aside from making his MrScary Guitars, Shit he's the Hardest working Guitarist in the Buisness and to many the Best an ICON too MILLIONS..His Career is BOOMING AGAIN
Look at how fucking sexy Richie STILL is in his forties! You don't see fake hospital photos of a man in a stupid bandana. Richie don't need that to be relevant. He lets his hands do the talking.
@asiat30 I think George feels and loves the music so much he is in his own world. He isn't there for the fame, but for the artistic value and freedom of expression he can demonstrate in this setting. When Gilbert wants everyone to celebrate for him, he kind of turns away for that reason I think.. Notice when he was introduced even he had his head down. Maybe he thought he wasn't worthy, or beating himself up over his performance? Either way he is definitely great!
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, God in all his glory and majesty reveals himself through musicians such as these and whether they realize it or not their gift is from GOD! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
If PG would take his headphones off he would realize that it doesn't sound as good to us as it does to him...don't get me wrong, technically he is superior...but Kotzen has a much better tone! IMHO

Don't forget "Change", also good album. If you want to get a bit dark songs, get "Into The Black". What a gift man.
if only he could write songs as good as Chris Cornell did... helas!

Richie Kotzen is far beyond the shallow shredder cliché, he is the real deal for me as a fan and musician.
Ivo Stan Gilbert could have kicked ass... He didn't wanna steal the show bro!
I love how Paul enjoy other player's solo.

haha always going back to listen to RK
Kotzen 24/7
@@wibowocahyono634❤
Liked all 3 solos, but if I had to pick one, i'd say richie's solo was the most tasteful of the 3
Kotzen the badass all rounder, Lynch the oldie veteran who still has it, Gilbert the college music professor who is secretly one heck of a master
George Lynch is freaking brilliant. If I dont watch the screen and just listen to his tone...
The small things he does is skilled, tasteful and on the right spot. Rock on guys :)
Richie is more than musician and shredder, is a genius.
Jesus. This is magic.
Kotzen is a beast! Incredible guitarist, great singer, immense at improv and good songwriter. Is there anything this guy can't do?!
it's always amazing: 3 guys with the electrical guitar and each and every one of them has a TOTALLY different language to offer - all 3 of them are insanely gifted artists.

Kotzen has tasteful motifs and eargasmic phrasing!

Kotzen owned the tone that night.
Three great guitarists on one stage. Awesome!
WOW PABLO GILBERTOOOOOO what a great band here with Kotzen and Lynch
❤️ This Song! Absolutely in Heaven listening to the Greatest Blues Guitarist Play Frampton!
Been a big fan of Paul Gilbert since the early 90's , and Richie since about 5 years, never listened to George Lynch, and have to say the solo that George Lynch laid down was abosolutely gobsmacking.
3 kickass solos but Paul's solo for was my favorite one, what a shredder yet with a lot of feelling! Paul Gilbert is a true legend!
RK is too good.
Richie! Soooo good. Also those single string guitars REALLY cut through the mix much better than the Ibanez.
Three master's paying homage to a classic track by the great Peter Frampton !!
Strait killer !!!
George Lynch most memorable solos ever
It is always amazing to me to see the impact that Frampton has had on so many guitar players including me,but when the conversation comes up about the most influential guitarist of all time his name is always overlooked. That song alone inspired a whole generation of guitar players.
I spent hours n hours moving the arm on my turntable back n forth learning to play this....
Wow. just wow/ The tree guitarist from who I learned to play from,.....thank you to all 3..
I used to watch in amazement when Richie played with Arthur’s Museum at the Silo when he was 15ish. What a talent.

He's so Good I'd like to be related,.......😊😊😉!!
Richie's one of the best kept secrets in music!! He's got it 👍👍👌😁

richie kotzen , what a musician
Kotzen is excited to play with other guys))) I love him!
I could watch this all night....It makes me want to light up a big cat-leg joint and sit back and listen...and I havent smoked in 20 years
3 of my favourite guitarists... but lynch gives style lessons to us all!
love this :)
What a great jam. Not a weak performance among them. Each brought such a cool taste and contribution to the table. Nice to see them all play raw and free to explore ideas on the fret board. What a showcase. Thanks for whomever posted this!
that's why people always say, if you like paul, you gotta like his personality =)
Lynch brain is fried man.. Gilbert & Kotzen are True Masters!
Why is his brain fried ?
What a performance by a trio of guitar players, with unique and different styles but when together an almighty cohesive harmony take's center stage. Welcome GTR PFA !!

love the intro by kotzen! watched this 100 times already!
Love it. Beats shredding any day. Meaningful meandering
Kotzen schooled them all on this one good tone man
Three of some my favorite players. Different styles but all good!
Paul is having the most fun for sure. Richie is the probably the best out of the three but George is just too memorable. And Paul has the most infectious personality!
Chet Atkins was tapping on national TV back in the 50's. Gypsy Jazz players had been doing it for decades before that.
A musical family tree!! Awesome!
Gilbert and Kotzen Idolize Lynch for the Guitar God that he is!
Richie's idol is Prince.
You totally missed the point! But I get you!

Yes, he must really have had to dumb it down while in Poison. He is the real deal,it turns out.

Such different sounds from these guys....lots of jams have dudes who blend too much. This is cool shit. ✌️

three immense musicians. the great feeling of RK meets the lucid technicality of PG meets the gloves of GL eheh
Outfuckingstanding Richie!!
Yes, Kotzen is kind of in his own league. An unfair amount of talent was allocated to that dude.
All great and totally different styles.. Such a monsters they are
