OK, so how do you do this by yourself holding the adapter while at the same time trying to pump? I’m a female and it’s not like I’m really strong enough I don’t think to do both.
This video was of no help to me. It would help if you would show how easily it’s supposed to be to use that adapter while connecting it to the disc wheel valve stem with very little room for your index finger and thumb to tighten the adapter to the stem. There’s not enough room in that little disc opening.

This video does not show you how to use adapter, holding adapter, while pumping at the same time this is pointless
