My friend, I feel your pain. I got into ants while working on plumbing under a house. Benadryl is your best friend when ants bite. I am so proud of you Nico, you are an amazing father, husband, and role model. God bless you and your family.
Neko take some Benadryl before bed. Also if you don't already have something topical that works get some Caladryl. Fire Ant bites can be serious and can sometimes leave permanent scars. So you should treat them. I hope the starlink works awesome for you. Natalie, that you hung in there outside while Neko was digging the holes, is a big deal. I used to help my dad and he once told me that the company makes things seem to go faster. And the measuring gives a little break. It's the little things.
Thank you, Neco, for doing all that just to send out your families Video's to all your viewers. I appreciate that immensely. 🎉❤
I’ve gotten bit by these ants when my parents lived in Florida. They are ferocious little buggers. Love the new plants. Natalie is a natural on the auger. Well done. God’s blessings
I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how much I enjoy your videos I'm a new comer. It's a joy to watch ya'll you cover the whole farm and family. The variety of the entire farm and projects are so much fun for this old lady. Gods' blessings on your whole family.
I love baby Pharoah, he is so cute!!! I'm glad you guys got to meet new people and enjoy your trip. Looks like your mom did an excellant job while you were gone. Your homestead is the most beautiful I've seen so far, Family, Property and Animals. God Bless, looking forward to your next live.
Baby Pharaoh has to be cute!!! Look how good looking Neco is & how beautiful Natalie is!!! He has no choice but to be cute just like Egypt & Sahara!!!! 😀😀😀❤️❤️❤️
Good day guys, the power auger sure beats digging those holes by hand. Your property is gorgeous, you take such care to make things really look nice. Your son is a real cute, he looks so peaceful. It won’t be long Necko he will be following you around and helping out. Sorry for saying son and he, I don’t want to spell his name wrong. Love your videos. ❤️❤️👍👍🇨🇦
Thanks to Nana for taking care of the farm while Y'all were gone. Sorry Neco got stung by the ants. That's some painful things. Those hydrangeas will be beautiful around the tree. Beautiful mums for Graceland. It's good that Y'all had fun at the event but now back to hard work on the farm. Can't wait till you get Starlink up and running and go live. GOD bless Y'all.
Your homestead is looking more gorgeous each day! Can't wait for the fencing to go up ❤❤❤❤
I love those big Grandfather Oaks, they are stunning. Thor is getting so big it will be interesting watching him and your children as they grow. Hope you are recovering from your run in with the ants. Take care and God Bless you all.
I learned the hard way one day about the fire ants...they aren't always in the common mounds you expect them to be in. Hope they didn't leave you in too much pain. What a difference having the proper equipment makes. Thanks to Nana for taking care of your animals while you were gone. Thanks for sharing.
I despise fire ants! Those bites are awful 🤬
I love how you have created the whole esthetic of your farm…Its simply beautiful!! Your attention to detail and your vision to create such a beautiful farm is mesmerizing!! Ty for sharing your family and farm with us ♥️
Yikes, red ants 😮 loved the shoe toss! 😅 Dang Natalie...you're a beast...beautiful and strong! ❤
He had me chuckling with the shoe toss😂
Thank you!! 😅😎That was my workout for the day(maybe week lol)
Baby Pharoah is getting so big! Enjoy him while you can, because kids grow up so fast. My baby is 28 yo and I miss those days of cuddling.
Dang those fire ants! I feel bad for you Neco. They hurt a lot!
Fire ants 🐜! I hope you are ok Neco. Team work 😊 ! I am happy for you to have better internet at your house. Love and hugs from Texas! ❤
Congratulations on the arrival of your Starlink equipment! Hope the setup goes smoothly for you!
We have fire ants out here in Arizona and I absolutely hate them! Their bites plague me for weeks with itching and swelling, so I can relate.
That rented auger sure was a big help! Good call there! 👍
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I really like all your videos. Y'all have a great family.
❤
I usually just leave a heart, to let you know that I love your family your farm and your content. But every once in awhile I must tell you what a beautiful family you have, and awareness everybody has how hard it is to keep a farm looking this beautiful. Also I must acknowledge how wonderful you take care of your animals. It's easy to see the love you have for your family and your animals. Love your content and enjoy your videos so very much. Love and hugs coming your way.
❤
❤
Y’all work so good together ❤
Great you arrived back safely, everything looks great, the animals looking happy and healthy, the little one is so handsome and cute 😊🍁🍁💜
So sweet of Sahara to help.
We enjoyed meeting your family in Alabama! Thanks from your Florida friends!
Welcome all the new members. You will love this family :)
What beautiful sandy soil you have. No wonder the rain doesn't leave puddles. I felt your pain Neco, when those ants got into your shoes. 🐜🐜🐜🐜Nat has some muscles with handling that Auger. 💪Nanna did a great job looking after the animals while you were away. 🥰 Love to all the family. xoxo
Very glad you have a good internet now.
Fire ants makes your skin feel like you are on fire! It hurts. Sorry.
Natalie, like the flowers you got, it gives a sense of happiness, smiles, calm.
Yes! Finally someone whose interested in gardening among the homesteaders! My sister gardens in FL. in Sebring. Her legs are covered in scars because of fire ants. I'm glad you have baby Pharaoh. There is nothing better than watching a baby develop physically and mentally! It's true what the Bible says about children being Gods gift to us. Real treasures❤. Tucker is a gorgeous kitty 😻
Y'all are so hard working. My kind of people!
Hello Brown family, I love your alls let's get to it saying. My Grandpa always said the best way to get something done that needs done is get to it & get it done. My Grandparents helped raise me & my sister on a farm in the 70s. They still had 9 of their 13 kids living at home. Love watching y'all. God Bless everyone.
My sister had fire ants in her yard one time there were about 6 nests of them. She tried everything to get rid of them. Nothing worked. She got so tired of being attacked every time she mowed the yard. She got some gasoline and poured it into the holes and conected each hole with a snall stream of gas, and threw a match. Nearly blew up the whole place, but no more fire ants. Don't advise trying that solution, just a story of the desperation they can drive you to. Am in total sympathy with you.
Yall have such a beautiful family and a beautiful farm. Love your channel!! God bless yall!!
Thank you Billie Jo 🌸
Love the flowers you planted 😊 and the baby is so cute 🥰! Much love from Tennessee and God bless 🙏
The farm is looking wonderful!! 🥰❤️🥰
Thank you 😊
We are excited that it has been cooling off a little.
You are a strong man Neko. I don't think I've ever seen only one person use an auger like that. It usually takes two people. Good job!
I should have finished watching the whole video. Look at you go Mama!
The good thing about hydrangeas, you can root them. Once the rooting is established you replant and the grow fast.
Baby Pharoah helping unload lol soo cute
Great team work!
Glad y'all got home safely.
Your property is beautiful can really see you've taken great pride in your property. Can't wait to see the plants grow around the trees I'm sure they will be beautiful. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Fire ants are awful! I was attacked at a nursery 13 years ago when we just moved to Florida from Michigan. Had to learn all new plants and trees that would grow in sw Florida. Love how clean and pretty your property is!!😊 here we have tiny burrowing owls everywhere and they are protected. You will see white cross wooded perches everywhere and even have a burrowing owl festival.
You are such a great teacher! Seriously! That was so educational, thank you!
So hard to see sand instead of soil, from the Midwest. So enjoy watching everthing! ❤️👍🏼
Congratulations on your new shirts, and starling - exciting times :)
It was such a blessing to meet all of you at pedals to the past, and Alabama.
You 2 make videos so fun to watch. So glad I came upon your lovely family
My friend ended up in the hospital twice just because water ants crawled on his hand once second arm. He swelled up so huge. Needed antibiotics plus antihistamines. Glad you are ok❤
Great job today. Watching you guys helps me to relax and think wonderful things. 😀
Oh I love the stick of shame on Carol’s horns. It made me laugh. Great idea. Love to you all. 🇬🇧
Love your videos. Sorry about the ants. I never miss one. Love how Natalie got your back. Good job guys
I have been stung by fire ants several times this summer. I understand your pain. And the bites stay red for weeks. No fun!!
May the lord bless and protect you and your family and the animals
❤❤❤❤❤😊 you guys are such hard workers and work together well Really enjoy your videos You were very dedicated Neco 😊
Drip systems are the absolute best!!! I love all of the new plants!!! I can't wait for the next step in the fencing!!! God Bless!!!
Great job guys
Natalie, your so much like me, digging holes. 😂 Those rutting boys are gonna show their love you too. SORRY, Nicco you got bit in the process. Love you ALL shirts, great design details.
Your property is beautiful! I have a huge magnolia tree in my yard, they are beautiful, BUT, they are a mess! Have to rake up the leaves, they would dull the lawnmower blades in no time, and then there are the cones that fall, gotta pick/rake them up! All this happens over a period of 2/3 weeks, twice a year! Might wanna think twice about planting them in yard! Keep up the good work, your family is beautiful! TFS
You may want to check about watering your oak trees. Out here in the desert climate of California, they recommend no watering of native oaks, as being a bad idea. Your trees are probably able to handle the moist climate in Florida.
Great video, I love your farm and family xx
Enjoyed seeing y’all at Petals from the Past! You were brave waving that UT flag! 🤣
My oldest grandson graduated from UT, Hook’em Horns! 😊
I love your family farm!! Thank you for all the hard work and time you put in to make this happen for us!!! I really appreciate your effort and hard work!!!
I hope that disturbing the roots, won't kill those beautiful Oak trees 😢❤❤
I loved watching Nico with the auger. He looked like a little kid with a new toy. I wanted to say about the video from Alabama and the flag. I’m born and raised in Louisiana and my husband was a Navy brat raised all over. Well we took him to an LSU vs Alabama game. We are sitting in the LSU section and he kept cheering for Alabama. 😂😂
Beautiful flowers and shrubs, good job guys !!! 💖💖💖
Hi Neco, Natalie and family!! It was so great to meet y'all last weekend at Petals From the Past. Hope your trip home was without any bumps! Did you make it to the Catfish House? I hate the ice tea was spilt, but at least you got a couple of sips Natalie. Take Care and the homestead is looking great!! Leslie
Ouch! Fire ants are terrible. I'm so sorry you found them, or I should say that they found you. I'm glad you decided to work smarter and not harder. Getting that auger was definitely the smart move. It may be a pain to dig out post holes but once you get that garden going your root vegetables are going to love that loose sandy soil. It's near perfect soil for potatoes. The Mums look lovely BTW.
Hey Dandymom 👋🏾 Thank you so much! The mums did turn out great 😊 so many great recommendations around getting those & we are glad we listened to the advice. Those ants tore me up 🐜 but I’m feeling better today ❤️❤️
Thanks for another good video. Shows how much work it takes to keep up a nice looking farm.
I HATE FIRE ANTS!! I would have to go to the ER if I had gotten stung by them. The flowers are going to look so pretty around the tree!! I like how you decorate around the animals' pins. You guys should check out Garden Answer and Garden with Creekside. Nico,I hope you are enjoying your time off and Natalie. I hope you are enjoying going back to work.😊
Certainly have done a lot work today. Posts and plants a good job well done.
How good are your chickens laying with ther feed ? Thanks for sharing 👍♥️🗝️❤️🇺🇸
Neco, that burnt orange is still ugly!😂 But I will congratulate you on the win! We will do better next year when we have a little experience under our belts! Having an almost completely new team is not a good thing! But I still love my Tide!! It was so good meeting y’all at Petals from the past! I enjoyed y’all so much! Egypt was so precious! Love and blessings from this old Bama girl!❤❤❤
If you pour molten aluminum into the hole it will fill the inside of the colony once it dries you can dig it up and use it as art
I would love to take a nap under that beautiful big tree. I enjoy your channel so much. Keep ‘em coming. ♥️🫶🏻
That’s one of our favorite places to hangout and read books 💕
What a beautiful farm ! You guys do wonderful landscaping , your barn is gorgeous too. ❤ thank you for sharing your lives with us. 😊
I bought the same blushing bride hydrangeas Sarurday! So pretty! Happy for you with the new internet - will make your life so much easier.
I love Hydrangas! My favorite are the blue/purple ones. My grandmother poured used dish water on hers to make them pink.
Those Grandfather Oaks are BEAUTIFUL!!!!
You guys are precious, so glad your channel showed up on my youtube recommendations. Both of our children graduated from UT Austin, too!
That Starlink should be a huge game changer for you!!!
We’ve been testing it out before scheduling a live, and now we realize how horrible our connection really was 😂
He’s showing off for the ladies 😂. Now you know what to get him for Christmas. He look like a kid with a new toy.😂
Just started watching y’all a few weeks ago from Clover, SC and I love how you all take such good care of your animals and also their shelter where they live. Y’all have a beautiful family. The ants are horrible where I live and they have mounds on top of the ground. I told my husband I could go outside on a 100 acre farm and there would be one ant on that 100 acres and that ant would find me.🙄 God bless y’all.
Natalie, nice job of trying the augar! Your farm looks amazing!
Hey guys, big job ahead, oh no ant attack, ouch! You go Natalie! Very nice shirts and colours too! Oh wow that's a long time to edit and upload! I Love Hydrangeas. I've seen a lot of Homesteads using the drip irrigation system this year, it such a good idea! Oh Love the Fall Mums also. Hungry goats. I hope Carol has learned not to go in the fence. Thor is growing. Great video, thank you much ❤
Hi Donna😆
We’ve been using drip irrigation for about a year now and really love it. Natalie likes that if it’s raining we can just turn it off for the day so the plants don’t get over watered 💦
We are taking her stick off today,so I’m really hopeful that she doesn’t get stuck again. 😅
@@ourbrownfarmhouse I hope she doesn't get stuck either!
Glad you got home Safe❤❤❤❤
Hydrangeas are very hard to grow in Central FL. Drip irrigation might made a difference. Check with your county extension service about what variety might make it here.
A good indication is you don't see many if any growing around us! I love them but never have been able to get them to survive.....
You are doing a beautiful job with your landscaping, I am glad you found everything in good order when you got back home, I bet those ant bits hurt I hope you put some medicine on them, Love you guys you have a beautiful family and a beautiful farm , keep up the good work, God bless you and take care
Love your channel and your family!
Hello Brown Family 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
I just started on this episode been real busy with doing life stuff you know!!!
Glad you had a good time on your mini vacation. OMG BABY PHARAOH IS SO STINKIN CUTE😊😊😊. AND THE GIRLS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND THEIR MANNERISMS ARE GREAT!!!
You have should be very proud of yourselves.
I love your shirt designs. You know I am definitely gonna have to get me one.
Thanks for sharing your life and allowing me to come along.
Love you guys❤❤❤❤
Beautiful mums! 👍❤️
We were shocked when we saw them, but also really excited since it was a suggestion from y’all 🥰
Another great video! Wow that is dedication to wait 3-4 hours for video upload, most would have said forget it, so glad you were able to get new internet.
hi from Watertown NY love your homestead it is just beautiful and such a lovely young family.
I’m a new subscriber that found you through watching The Walker Farm Fam at the Pedals from the Past meet up. So far I’m loving your little family’s journey! Making me smile! God bless you all! I knew you were good people when I saw the Longhorns flag! 😁
Before the winter sets in you will need to plant those mums in either bigger pots or in the ground. Those mums will at least double in size by next spring or summer, they will do much better in the ground anyway.
Your teamwork is top notch and your mutual visions are fantastic! What a pain about your internet, but it looks like your prayers are coming true 💗 hey, if I can successfully propagate my hydrangeas, you are going to do it easily. I’m amazed how fast it went once they took hold. My baby plants bloomed the next spring! Just keep them moist even when you replant in the ground for a season, especially summer. Now a year later my irritation hits them every other day in the summer. Blessing to you and your family 💗🌸 edit: I’m not a big T-shirt person, but I can’t wait until yours are available 😊👍
💪Way to go Neco! 😅
I love the Spanish moss. So wish I could have that in the Upper Midwest. Y’all are hard working people ❤love your videos and how dedicated you are to your kids and farm.
Nice video.
Oh my goodness 😳 those ants gotcha ..I'm sorry 😞. Love the hydrangeas! They are my favorite flowers 💐! Love your homestead! 😅❤
Thank you so much!
❤
As long as there is plenty of space the Hydrangeas will expand rapidly!!! I would just plant 2 on each side of each tree because next year they will probably connect to each other!!! Each one of ours expanded 8 feet the next year after planting!!! Just a suggestion but if you want complete ground cover around your big trees, I would plant some Lambs Ear under the Hydrangeas!!! They will also expand the next year!!! They have white fuzzy leaves & really set off other flowers!!! 😀😀😀😀😀
Ohh Cynthia you just shared something I didn’t know!! We are going for the complete ground coverage. Lamb ears right? I’m going to search for some 😆
Nico is like a kid playing with a new toy! Having to much fun!😅😅
Oh know an ant hill! Are you going to be ok?
Pretty t-shirts. Nice👍
You folks have a beautiful farm!! 🎉 Take care & see you next video. Iowa got some rain finally on Sun & Mon. I really enjoyed the cooler days will low humidity. I have COPD so hot humid weather is not good to me. Take care & see you next time. God Bless 🫶🙏🤗🇺🇲
