    Hailey is an intelligent woman in my opinion. For making these products fragrance free. Most celebrities are focused on the marketing, packaging, and self care / sensory aspect.
    I am also VERY impressed with the ingredients in this glazing milk. Ceramides, fatty acids, cholesterol, zinc and copper gluconate, beta glucan….!!! Wow. I also like that it contains no plant oils. Just good ingredients and NMFs to feed the skin what it needs, and hyaluronic acid as a penetration enhancer. No oils to make things unnecessarily shiny or greasy or emollient.
    Wow. I am wanting to try this now. I love the idea of a ceramides essence. To replace lipids after cleansing in a lightweight form without any heavy emolliency before proceeding with other skincare. This is the main product I’m wanting to try

    I think a good alternative to the Rhode Glazing Milk would be the Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan. It's a super lightweight gel and I like to layer it before a heavier moisturizer (I have dry skin). I haven't tried the Glazing Milk so it's just a suspicion, based on the ingredients comparison.

    I am on a major campaign to reverse my skin glycation 2:29 . I've corrected my diet to conform with all my gained researched knowledge, and taking all the recommended supplements. I'm using the Skin Ceuticals recommended Advanced A.G.E. Interrupter. I no longer dermaroll as through research learned that can cause more skin damage as well as lasher. I use my Mito Red Light panel for 12 min every day. My question is: what other home devises would help reverse glycation: I do need all the further information you may have to pass on for reversing skin glycation

    Hi Penn, do you have any concerns/distinguish between high and low molecular weight HAs?

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  Рік тому

      A little- but mostly just in regards to microneedling. I prefer high molecular weight for medical needling bc it’s film forming and anti inflammatory. Low and ultra low HA may be inflammatory. That said, it also penetrates better so it likely hydrates better. So in everyday skincare it’s probably fine but with something like needling it’s not (my opinion). ❤️

      I guarantee you wouldn’t like anyone in the c-suite of any of the brands you buy 🤷🏼‍♀️ what a dumb hill to die on. Michael Jackson was absolutely a pedophile but I still listen to his music. Strangers personal lives are none of your business to judge even if they are well known. You don’t know them so why would you care? If products are good why not buy them? You are the one that loses out 🤷🏼‍♀️ very controlling people make comments like this.

    I was initially attracted to the brand due to the ingredients (had to Google Hailey Bieber) and am finally test driving the three Rhode face products now. I'm pleasantly surprised! The milk, serum, and cream actually make my 54 year old combo-leaning-dry skin feel bouncy, plump, and incredibly hydrated. No idea how the Rhode line is going to play under foundation yet. Have yet to try anything by Drmtlgy but might be willing to in the future.
    Update: Plays beautifully (without primer, which I don't typically use anyhow) under ABH, NARS Light Reflecting, Rituel de Fille, and Danessa Myricks new skin tint, but absolutely rocks my world under Glossier's skin tint!!!

    YES YES YES YES YES! I have completely fallen IN LOVE with Rhode and that Glazing Milk is in my top 3 skincare products of all time! It's incredible. I use it twice a day and it makes my skin super elastic and plumped. And agreed, this is way better than the Laniege Cream Skin Mist (not a brand that supports abortion rights FYI).
    I'm sick of the hate toward Hailey Bieber (can we stop with the unmerited woman on woman hate? It smacks so hard of internalized misogyny). She's done nothing wrong except be in a stupid love triangle with Selena Gomez and her husband Justin Bieber, perpetuated by their fans pitting them against each other. I could not care less about this Tiger Beat nonsense.
    Her brand is literally the LOUDEST prochoice beauty brand that exists, period.
    I'm a huge fan.

    Hi Penny, thanks for this information. I am so thankful for your expertise and generosity of spirit. So, in terms of prepping my skin for my routine I cleanse with a thin mix of ghrasoul clay and aloe vera serum. I guess I should say I am currently residing in Morocco and I am using some natural Moroccan ingredients. I then use a rose water in the morning and at night lavender water to dampen my skin before moving on to an active serum, then Cerave am in the morning and their pm moisturizer in the evening, and I finish with squalane oil mixed with argon oil or sweet almond oil as an occlusive layer. My question is, do you think that the flower waters are enough for prepping my skin or do I really need an essence? The actives that I use are vitamin c serum for day time and I alternate between lactic acid and retinol layered over argireline at night.

    First let me say, your channel is superior. The content is the best around. Personally, I am more interested in protecting my skin, repairing my skin, and taking care of my skin. At 75 I want to do everything I can to help the aging process be better .I’ve got more make up than I know what to do with, another eyeshadow palette or lipstick, or blush, etc I don’t need or care about. I’m always in Sephora and Ulta and I literally can’t buy anything anymore. There’s nothing out there that I don’t already have. So I would rather watch content that tells me how to protect and repair the skin I have now. I always use several essences throughout my routine am& pm but I always use a warm wash cloth and press it on my skin prior to starting any routine. Why don’t beauty products use more glass packaging? You mentioned they use 50 % recycled plastic. I use several Timeless items and they do. My personal belief is to remove as much plastic as possible in my life. I’m using compostable bags, glass food containers, glass beauty containers etc. the more aware we are of the benefits of this we can make better decisions.
