Thank you Ron for documenting this in such great detail. It looks like they are taking care and have tagged every part so that the Carousel can be reassembled just as it was.
i video the 6 day process. and watched it come down, and i still cant believe it. no worries. its getting restored, and put in a museum on the boardwalk.
in storage now. bids will be made, on what company will repair it. piece by piece. then it will be housed in a new building on the boardwalk. check out, seaside heights historical society.
Thanks a lot Ron for that it personally met quite a bit to me especially on a day like today when so many other memories are sharing the moments. Keep them rolling 💪
Ron Henry glad to hear that, is it possible to track down one of the original wooden horses from the carousel? At least a picture of one, please let me know. Serious sentimental value to me, I can't care about monetary value but the memories that I would like to replace.
Thank you, Ron! I have great memories of riding that carousel during the 60's and 70's. What is going to be in the place where the carousel was removed from?
Thanks for video. Great memories of Casino Pier my family had.

it should return in the fall 2022.
