Thanks for taking us along for your visit to the equipment dealer. Some of my fondest memories growing up was when my Dad and I made a parts run and we would always check out the used equipment. It was kind of a ritual we looked forward to. Now it's just me and I don't get to the dealerships as often as before - and there are fewer of them. But when I go, I still look through the used stuff. Thanks Mike!
Nice seeing the equipment over the pond. Thanks for that. 👍 But think you've spotted some though provoking stuff 😁😆. Thanks for the trip "slip🤣". Hope your keeping well and family to.? Stay safe 🏴 👌 👍
And it always does my heart good to hear how the little guy wants to be just like his dad. You seem to be a really good dad. That’s so important in a world that has come completely unhinged
Landoll has always made high quality products. I like New Holland. Ran various pieces of their equipment over the years and they all behaved. I love browsing machine lots. Get great ideas every time. Glad we didn’t have to put out the call of Man Down. Man Down. Lol. Be careful. Tore my ACL on a chunk of frozen water. Real low on the fun meter.
Mike That dion with the short spout is for blowing into wagons, the spout will raise up then rotate. That's pretty much almost the same chopper we have at work only ours is the dion/deere version 2430 in green. Ours is going on its 3rd season and it's had a few issues but technology wise it's a pretty awesome chopper for a pull type.
Thank Jim. I knew the smaller one was for the wagons but it just looked too small for some reason. Probably if it was sitting by one of the fp240s it would look the same
@@mikep7810 it definitely looks a bit funny when compared to a nh or jd pull type thats what we thought too when we 1st got it. But don't let that fool you that chopper can blow some feed.
So, I got chatting with you about skid steers and forgot to drop a comment. My philosophy is we might get knocked back, but we have to keep moving. Even baby steps, as long as they’re going forward, is progress my friend.
Clinton Tractor is a great place! Amazing how much stuff they have there. We needed a spring for a Shaver hydraulic post pounder and they actually had one in stock. Wonderful people!
I go out looking too. Once in a great while though something finds its way home with me. When I'm definitely not looking, I always take the car. Never take the truck!!!
Haha I made sure I went when they were closed. You are right, you always seem to find something that gets the wheels turning like hmm that would be really nice
Great awesome video mike, always like looking at equipment , that scorpion forage harvester is bad ass , that’s mikes next chopper . That 4555 better be tuned up lol
Double rotary rakes are nice. Cover alot of ground. Real thick hay. 2 rows in one pass. Or can do 2 into 1 while goibg around same way or thin can 4 to 1. Real nice. But pricey for a rake
They sure are nice. There are times when I and doubling up rows with our single rake and say "boy it would be nice to have a double rake" then I see the price tag and say "I better keep doubling up the rows" Haha
Yeah Clinton Tractor always has something new in there and we usually do it at least once or twice a month drive-through look at their equipment and occasionally a drive-through Empire and Whites farm supply and I work part time over by Cazenovia equipment so I drive through there once in a great while to
Haha yeah can't climb on the wagon because of covid. I tell him we can't sit inside the tractors cause they are locked because of covid. All he hears is "you can't do that because of covid, or its closed because of covid" poor guy
That wouldn't be a bad idea I would just have to figure out what dealership around us would carry their parts. Its the after the sale part thats the issue a lot of the time
That Dion chopper is nice, but I don’t think your 4555 could handle that..... wait maybe one row at a time. Those choppers require massive juice use my cousins had a dion and they ran it on an MX280 and they claimed it still wasn’t enough power for that chopper. The roller harrows, John Deere did make a good one, but the brilliant ones are better built and much heavier than the Deere ones that landoll disk is I think a 25’ one. I about flinched when you said you were looking at a TW Ford.. but it would be better suited never seen and on the manure spreader. Great video Mike. Catch you at the next one!
We 5 silos several times a year so we put more through our blower then you guys and I really like our 1466 on the blower push 210hp you can feed it as fast as the blower can eat it
This dealer has a mountain of money tied up in inventory and after 2 bad years for New York dairy industry a lot of that inventory might be sitting there for a very long time.

Sounds like some great memories Charlie. My dad and I would do the same thing when we went to go get parts
Always enjoy a tour of dealership stock with the used machinery. Boy they are well stocked.. Nice!
Yeah and there were a couple little spots down the road they had that I didn't stop at. They have plenty of stock and nice equipment
Alot of nice machines Mike

Browsing farm equipment is always an interesting video.
Its always fun to see what they have on the lot
I have a 706 IH gas tractor, Yup I farm like it is 1985! Good video Mike. Careful walkin on the ice!
Thanks Paul. Had a couple close calls. Our newest tractor is a 1992 so we farm like its the 80s too
Awesome trip and nice quality time with the family awesome time you had an nice you was close to my neck of the woods

A lot of nice stuff! I was surprised at how many small square bale accumulators they had. No one uses them down here. Wow, and a bale baron too!
They had 2 bale barons. 1 for me and 1 for you!
@@mikep7810 That would be awesome!

I like the idea of the TW20;) always been a Ford guy first. Thanks for the video again
There is something about those Ford tractors. Pretty sharp looking
Some nice equipment.👍
It sure was. There were a few things I'd like to have taken home
I've always liked lookin' at equipment.
It's always a fun time
Another great video thanks Mike
Thank you Gary
Good video Mike. It's always nice to see whats out there. Could reach 70 here tomorrow
It was beautiful here yesterday. A week like this makes me really want spring now
That was a nice roller 👍
It looked like a nice one
They had some nice equipment, I glance at there ad on occasion.
Yeah they always seem to have a nice stock of equipment
Had a Ford tw20 used it for alot of work around the farm from mixing feed to spreading manure no complaints at all about that tractor
They sound like nice tractors
Ford tractors are indestructible

Sweet! Farm I work for was looking at that T8 360 but decided against it at the last minute!
I really don't know anything about the other models. They look like nice tractors
Great awesome video mike, always like looking at equipment , that scorpion forage harvester is bad ass , that’s mikes next chopper . That 4555 better be tuned up lol
Haha the 4555 is already turned up. I think if I saw the price tag I'd probably faint.

We can't have it get too warm to quickly! I still need to have a good sugar season!
How has it been going so far?
@@mikep7810 a little bit of a slow start. I'm anticipating that things will pick up.
Mike you should look into 120 or 125 WHITE TRACTOR OR OLIVER TRACTOR THESE ARE # 1 TRACTOR LOL I LOVE THEM AND I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE JOHN DEERE

It's been a beautiful week to take a nice little road trip

That 706 would be a nice tmr mixer tractor

We had an 810 ez trail cart. Good cart we just out grew it

Have you been able to get out in the flooded Fields for clean up
Yeah I should get out there and do a video
I am amazed at the amount of equipment inventory at one location. Is that a consignment auction house or a dealership?
Its a dealership. Yes they have a lot of nice things
Are you getting your wishlist ready for spring
Haha my did always say it doesn't cost anything to dream. Just doing some dreaming
Surprised U walked right by them round balers without even looking
If they had a Kuhn round baler I'd definitely would have stopped and checked it out

Wow, what a sign of the times!

No narrow front tractors for me
