    This is the first time I have ever seen anyone extract honey. It's interesting to actually see how it's done. I do understand why Honey is so expensive and makes sense. You definitely have to invest a lot of money and put your heart and soul into it. Thanks Josh for explaining and showing the process. You are the man.

    Tickled for you Bubba. You did it...and you did it well!! Now you have the frames with wax for next year. ...and some wax for candles or reloading...etc. Every year you learn more with Bees... They are so interesting.

    Does local honey bring a pretty good price with the bees not being able to winter?

    • @Liketheoranges8
      @Liketheoranges8  27 днів тому +1

      Very! Cheapest quart you'll find here is $40. If your at a local Farmer's Market expect $50 or more. Pints cheapest is $20

    varroa mite treatments are pretty toxic. Keep in mind you already know more about bees than us but we just let a bee keeper that uses essential oils and hasnt had any issues with mites.

      Oh interesting! I'll definitely look into that! Never heard of essential oils being used for mites. That's awesome! Thank you!
