I would be worried if Elon was seriously considering it. I don't know a lot about him as a business owner, but as a person he can be problematic. I mean look at what he does on twitter. He makes some crazy tweets and twitter has lost significant value since he took over. Hasbro is already making decisions make me uneasy like no longer funding their movies and laying off a substantial amount of their staff due to the desires of its current higher ups. I don't want to imagine what Elon would do on a whim. He may very well bring hasbro a ton of money, but at what cost to fans, pr, and properties under their belt.
If Elon actually took over Hasbro then I'm certain the company would actually stop existing afterwards. Because Twitter looks to be on the same verge as MySpace. I can understand why Hasbro stopped making the movies but that's a bigger discussion.
This seems like an overreaction to just a single tweet.

Hasbro could just point to the dumpsterfire he turned Twitter into and refuse to sell to him because he'd run the brand into the ground worse than it's going already.
Elon would ruin it. Genuinely he has a track record recently for putting out low quality product. Don’t think he would do it, he put out the same tweet about buying MSNBC.
I feel like there would only be G1 season one and 2 transformers made and only core characters if a female transformers hyper sexualized and same mold for vastly different female characters kinda like POTP and no LGBT stuff at all

Hasbro probably needs some sort of restructure, particularly with things surrounding transformers, Elon would not be competent enough to do that successfully.
I say all this as if this post holds any merit, the guy makes these kinds of posts like 500 times a day, this is the only one that's orbiting transformers so the community latched on.

Honestly would love to see what he could do.
From what I've seen of Elon if he obtained Hasbro, he would likely kick out the top brass and the dinguses who he believes are ruining DnD, much like what he did with Twitter regarding the "woke-ness". After that he would do some more restructuring. I.E. cutting costs in the top brass, giving departments more creative control, and maybe find ways to bring the manufacturing to the US.
Now yes, for those who are about to jump on their keyboards, we do know Elon would get his Teslas in the toy line and make some unsavory comments.
But it is a kids company man. Parents won't be looking to see who owns the company, their gonna see some toys their kids might like.
Hasbro is not reliant on a bunch of keyboard junkies who think they know better than capitalism.
