*disclaimer* I want to mention the quality of this footage is not a good representation on how good it can actually be. I didn't have a proper light & the sun was going down so she's doin the best she can (still passable in my opinion) but, if you want to see the quality range, check out my channel as I mentioned.

I appreciate your explanation and example on how discrete this camara is. I was intimidated, until I saw your video. It makes me feel comfortable that even an inexperienced user, can quickly learn to use it. Can you please tell me how is the editing? Is it easy to stop, and go when filming. Or, is a computer needed to do editing after shooting, to delete unwanted footage? Your advise will be greatly appreciated it. Thanks !

This! I just need something easy! Ive tried to start a vlog many times but all the jingle jangle bs microphones stands cords etc totally does my head in ! Thanks

I see it mucks up about the same amount as my phone. The big differences for me are the 4K video and to be honest, who films for more than 10 minutes in a segment? The big downer for me is the non replaceable battery. Sure - I can probably solder a new battery in but that's beside the point. It should be user replaceable. The big upside is that unlike my phone, it won't randomly decide to shoot videos in the wrong orientation.
I see your points but again, this video is just for the basics. I switched to my phone briefly due to running out of storage on my card and just through that experience, it proved my theory that I still would way rather use the Powershot v10 over my phone. supposed its all down to the person!
@@jaylynnangelina I'm actually thinking of getting this - my phone is certainly getting to is end and I don't know whether the next one will have a camera as good. The current phone I bought specifically to do video. I realise I have not used any apps nor set up email on it so the cheapest phone will do for me. I've been fighting against buying a camera just for youtube but... these modern smartphone have such terrible charging ports. This is the 3rd phone the charging port has broken on - oddly enough becoming totally unusable after about 18 months in each case.

I really don't see the advantage of it over the cell phone.
And above of that, you walk with 2 devices
