That's a nice looking KO, another difference is it looks like his cockpit is yellow where the OG is more of a reddish orange.
Other than that he looks awesome, I still need to get the Wheeljack one.

thank you for making cyclones skywarp, so many people say its bombshell but that makes no sense
To me, if Starscream was Megatron's lieutenant, and Skywarp & Thundercracker were directly under Starscream. When they got reformated, it only makes sense for his lieutenants to become Galvatron's new lieutenants since Stasrcream was going to get killed off. The Insecticons were only ever background 'army builder' characters.
And we all know those cartoons were riddled with inaccuracies and animation errors :D

I bought one, but his left knee joint snapped whilst i was transforming him. It didn't like glue or plastic weld. So I found a G1 Junker and swapped the bits over. Good as new. Nice as a display piece in box. You can get replacement rub symbols on 'reprolabels' - slightly different design but very similar. Thanks for the review.

I actually just received this KO today (ordered after watching this video) and it is great! I was nervous at first as the wing/arm was off of him inside of the package. But, I soon realized that it just popped off in transit and these were made to come off as a "feature" that was on the actual G1 toy anyway. This is a great KO...thanks again for the review. Please review more of these!

Whats not to love with Cyclonus? He's got bunny ears. His alt mode is true Decepticon fare. And, he's the only second in command to even dare forcing Galvatron in to a intergalactic insane asylum. The only thing louder that the purple, and day glow orange, is Starscream's ghost screeching "Why didn't I think of that??!!" The only real differences I can see, compared to my blue eared version. Is those... For lack of a better description. The thigh flaps at the rear in his alt mode. Don't seem to sit as well as the originals. But, on the plus side. Yours won't turn in to a flappy bird for at least 10 years. lol

Really nice. I love these G1 KO's. They are literally the only way us old folks that want a brand new toy that we had when we were kids to obtain them in that condition without adding a second mortgage on our houses. If Hasbro/Takara made these available again of course I would go that route. And, I do as a matter of fact. Any time I see a G1 official reissue from those companies I buy them. But, some (like this one in the review) they appear not to care about and never release them. That said, KO is the best and only option for me.

I used to have the Target Master cyclonus but someone stole it out of my storage unit I'm gutted that I don't have it anymore or I'd sell it to you for cheap

Awesome video. I prefer the originals though. But good to see the suttle differences.
Fair enough! But honestly I personally find that the most common hangup knowing who made it (Hasbro vs someone else) and there is there is usually no real difference in the build or quality of the figures themselves. Usually the only issue is maybe the stickers as you saw on this one. I have some that I can put next to their 'original' counterparts and you just can't tell. Remember these are being built with either 'lost' copies of original molds or recast from original figures.
The only exceptions I've personally encountered in build quality were one of Reflector's weapons won't fit in his hand (my peg is too wide but when compared to Patriot Primes also KO copy his worked fine), and my KO Weirdwolf had weak shoulder ratchets and the Headmaster tabs are different size from the original so the chest readings are different.
For me they make great fillers for figures I'm simply not willing to pay the current asking prices for.

Nice review, Bert! The purple on this seems a little more 'glittery' compared to my original '86 Targetmaster version. Any idea if there is a date stamp/wordings/numbers/markings behind the left arm/beneath the right wing of the KO? Keep the passion burning! 🤗
I have a new light setup and have been struggling trying to find the right light settings. Not sure about the markings, I'll have to get back to you. He's on the back end of a top shelf that is currently blocked by my packing for TFCon LOL!

@@BertTheStormtrooper, No worries, Bert! Please take your time on this. As an added not, there are subtle mould differences too particularly between the original 'painted blue' version and the other 2 later ones (the former lacks locking mechanism notches on the insides/back of the wings that make them more secure in flight mode). I wonder if the KO follows this original tooling or the second one... The 3rd Targetmaster version also inherits that subtle wing retooling, in addition to the Targetmaster port (and on the inside, within the chest, behind the front landing gear) a new rounded structure for the purpose of weapon-stress/pressure-related reinforcement while in aerial mode/bot weapon storage. The origins of this KO needs to be ascertained for sure! (In Sherlock's tone.) ;-)

Just look for G1 Re-issue and filter by lowest price first. There's several sellers so do your research and read their feedback. Many will have less than 100 transactions and a history of non-delivery. I find its best to pay a few extra bucks to the sellers who have several thousand transactions with good feedback so I make sure I get it.

Call me a air-head..cuz I am most of the time.. but, how does a k.o. get made without Takara, or Hasbro suing🤷
I think these particular builders are based in China. Most 'counterfeiters' are based either in China or Brazil where laws are a lot less strict and they can get away with more. Has/Tak is aware of them, and they make efforts to stop them, but it's just not that easy to go into another country and make that country's law enforcement make them stop doing something you say is yours somewhere else.
These ppl are asking for lawsuits aren't they?

Hasbro doesn’t care about KOs of something they don’t sell anymore, these aren’t Rolexes. If it were USA they’d only sue as a requirement to maintain copyright.
