Absolutely, rented 10 slot server with admin tools and the simple cinematics mod. The older videos with only one character on screen were made with the DayZ editor before it was as buggy as it is now, it can still be used for anything that's not too complex if you're ever thinking about making similar stuff but don't want to rent a server or get people together to play the characters, I highly recommend giving it a go!
