Hey everyone, Sour here! Today's video is a little more chilled out compared to normal, it's one of the first few my friend Luke edited the majority of and I took over after to do the final touches / mix the audio and change a few things to feel more like a typical 'SourSweet' story. I think he did a great job and I believe this is the next step for the channel's future, it'll allow me to post more often whilst maintaining the same level of quality I aim for. I'll still be editing myself as well cause I still love doing it, just now there will be much less footage being wasted and more uploads. Any constructive critisism is welcome as I can relay it over to Luke and we can apply it to future videos, I'm excited for what's to come!
Your videos as well as a fustration of not having enough challenge in survival games convinced me to start playing day z. Im on my 7th or 8th life and im already addicted. The farthest ive gotten in a previous life was getting full paramedic gear, finding 2 rifles, learning how to actually cook, and eating raw human meat off a zombie because i had nothing else to eat/cook with and living with the cannibal disease. Ended up suiciding though after running out of food, water, and getting sick in the middle of the wilderness because i didnt realize until later i had to eat/drink slowly when sick. It sounds like a terrible experience, but its exactly the challenge i wanted. Thank you sour for showing me this game. You gained a subscriber and a new person to potentially run into some day.
I got the cannibal disease by eating one piece of cooked human steak I found 😢 I was absolutely terrified at first what a creepy ass symptom. hehehehehHAHAHAHa
yeah its great to have that 1 team mate who dies all the time and you need to loot his guns and wait around for him for hours on end and then for him to team kill you 🤣
I love this game. As a solo, I enjoy laying on a grassy hill in my ghili for a couple of hours, listening to nature become louder and louder the longer I sit. Then I take the shot, and nature goes completely silent for a bit.
You guys were so great together in the Light's Out event. The skill and communication of you three was great to watch. I am stoked that you guys are teaming up on the regular now. Thanks for the great vids!

I never thought I would enjoy watching someone play Day Z....boy am I glad I "took a chance" and started watching Sour. I have never been a PVP player with Zombies and the cutthroat nature of DayZ makes me very vary to ever try the game. I probably wouldn't take getting killed very well after playing the game for 4-5 Hours and starting over, so I will limit myself to watching and enjoying Sour's videos. I very much looking forward to future videos. I also have the honor of watching all of us back videos and have loads of fun watching those. Thanks SOOOO much for the entertaining videos.

I purchased this game January 14th 2013 and I am coming up to the 10 year mark of owning DayZ. I didn't get much of a chance to play the Arma 2 mod, but in standalone I have just over 200 hours, but that is spread over 10 years (with most of that spent in 2014). I slowly grew sick of the bugs, the KOS and I thought there was nothing to do. That is until recently I decided to give it one more chance. I was about to give up on it once and for all until yesterday. I finally decided to trust someone and run with a complete stranger. He had multiple chance to kill me and I him, but instead of that we shared loot, watched each others back, shared food and when he got shot I went and found saline for him. All was going well until we ran into two squads, one 4 man and the other a 3 man squad. We made it out alive, or at least we thought we did. We split up in a small town he would get guns and ammo I was to get medical supplies. One of the squads must of had the same idea, becuase I heard a single shot... followed by two more. I finally found his body and I swore I'd get revenge. However I was promptly shot dead by one of the enemy. So after almost 10 years, 200 hours and many many deaths, I finally get it. I finally get why people love this game. I added the guy on Discord and we'll be playing together sometime in the future. DayZ is game that can piss you off so much but it can also reward you but you are always one mistake away from death. I know this was long comment, but I just wanted to let you know that it was your videos SourSweet that got me to try just one more time, they got me to keep persevering and it paid off. So cheers mate, not only are your videos great but they are helping bring either new players or older players back into the game. Maybe you should get a little cash from Bohemia. I've always been friendly, preferring to talk first but kept going my own way after every interaction. But what I didn't get/understand is teaming up, be it with strangers or friends is the other half of the game. If you don't do that than you miss out on the best half. I am going to be unoriginal and play the same way as you do in your videos from now on. Not to get to much into it and I know it's just a game, but recently I've gone through some shit in RL and because of you and your content, I now have buddy who I can just talk shit with and forget my troubles. I find these videos incredibly entertaining even though the genre of games I play are all transport/sim types. I am terrible at any kind of game like this because I have the reaction time of a sloth and no spatial awareness in games. IRL I get lost in a parking lot. Probably why I find this so interesting. Video production is top notch to the point that it took me a while to notice some of the edits.

I find these videos incredibly entertaining even though the genre of games I play are all transport/sim types. I am terrible at any kind of game like this because I have the reaction time of a sloth and no spatial awareness in games. IRL I get lost in a parking lot. Probably why I find this so interesting. Video production is top notch to the point that it took me a while to notice some of the edits.

As a matter of fact right this very moment I’m standing on top of a car in Stary Sobor with a megaphone calling all the zombies and telling them I am their messiah. I have maybe 15+ zeds around me. Now I’m switching to sound bites of Randy Marsh singing as Steamy Ray Vaughn, STILL NOBODY. I absolutely love the game but geez man, maybe the map being so gd enormous wasn’t the best idea
