Old songs during the era of 50s,60s, 70s ,80s and 90s are still popular more than 50-60 years later whereas today's songs have no soul and heart in them. there are no great playback singers today like Rafi Saheb, Kishore da, Manna deyji, Latha and Ashaji. when will we see such an era. Maybe never.
I will never ever b tired of listening to Geeta datt and Guru datt in my life. What great artist they were. God take care of them as they gave so much pleasure to others.

Unlike Mohd Rafi Sahab - Who remained Aloof Other than his presence in Recording Studio & Back Home & also A Tee Totaller , 90 percent of film personalities were involved with their co -star & created a tense atmosphere at home resulting in both husband & wife taking to drinks & frustration leading to suicide etc , Leaving apart those aspects the songs from Gurudutt Films with music either by Burmanda or O.P. Nayyar were outstanding songs & Geeta Dutt with her Cabaret voice gave so much of joy through many songs particularly through duet with Rafi , Rafi Closing song in Pyasa highlighted the creation of a situation , lyrics , music director taking up the challenge , Guru Dutt acting & Rafi voice reaching a crescendo would remain ever before our eyes & the song would always be playing in our mind - That was the reason 1950-1970 songs have been termed as the Golden era of Hindi music - Fantastic upload thanks a million for this upload
