@@SortedFood but, the chefs continue to give the instructions, they're just now relaying the instructions from Jamie word by word, so the normal might not realize that it's Jamie giving the instructions....

1st off whoever came up with the idea of translating Ben's radio slang, *thank you* How does he know so much of it?! Also, brilliant curveball! Loved it! Not a sabotage, just something makes it more of a challenge of their skills. Sabotage would be less fun. Next time could each chef or normal pick a compulsory ingredient for the other at the beginning? Be fun to see how they react, but gives them enough time to adjust their recipes.
Double curveball, the item the other chef chose for a chef, is actually meant for themselves. Hopefully one ends up picking sea buckthorn, and the other chooses tamarillo
Chef's Remote Control Normals: 1914 Reference book. Just because I want to see the 1914 Reference book again, the chefs are remote controlling the normals as they read a recipe from the 1914 reference book. Normals pick the recipe, and the curveball is that the other chef gets to remove take away the reference book for 5 minutes sometime in the cooking process.
Great idea, but for the curveball, I'd personally suggest making the chefs talk in initials (except for a;an;the;and) for 5 minutes. (So a "dice the onion" would be "D the O" etc.) Punishment for making a mistake in this segment would be a 1-5 minute penalization (cannot be started in the last 11 minutes).
I love Ben so much in these. The confusion he's causing with the radio talk. So good XD And thanks a lot for the subtitles with explanation on what he says.

Curveball suggestion: Musical interlude. for five minutes, incredibly loud hold music plays. either they can't communicate or they have to yell louder than the music.
One of the channels does this where a chef cooks one of their signature dishes and a student has an identical setup behind them. The chef goes at their pace and talks the student through it but neither can see what the other is doing. As expected, great fun.

This was a fun idea. Another idea is normals remote controlled by chefs, but instead of being blindfolded, it is done as “musical chef” style. Where at random point(s) during the game, James and Ben switch places and a different chef is suddenly in charge of finishing the recipe started by the other. Because they don’t know whether or not they’ll be returned to their original dish, they can’t sabotage the dish, and must do their best to make it work. The normals stay where they’re at throughout the game, and can even communicate with the new chef so they can tell them what the old chef was trying for if they want.
