So happy I found this video. In my very first FMQ quilt I had a lot of thread breaks and I just trimmed the thread off, back stitched over a few stitches and continued. It looked awful. This method is easy and I will for sure use it from now on. Thank you.

Yes it should be fine. There aren't the problems with magnets being near these newer sewing machines like there used to be.
