The raw film style was good mate. It gave off a bit of atmosphere and felt like we were there for the ride. Good production values have their merits, but sometimes if it's too polished, it can affect that feeling. Good work guys. Slayed it.

It is intriguing. The engine initially sounded like an older F155 engine. It must be resonances from the frame and body which do it. But no F155 engine has ever revved like that and lived.

The Japanese Manga licence plate was a bold choice. LOL Should have gone to Specsavers!
It would have suited the VicRoads Japanese style custom plate.
Richard, thanks for the work you put into your channel, I've enjoyed watching your progress and your content creation style. You've inspired me to learn TIG.
An awesome build, even if those Toyota bones now have a Ford heart. After all your work and attention to detail, I hated seeing it get dirty, and heaven forbid if it gets banged up, but so cool you can enjoy it for your intended purpose.

    • @DesignedandBuilt

Hey Mate, something like this from a shop would cost you around 200K parts and labor. You could do it much cheaper depending on how you spec it and how much work you are willing to do yourself.

What size are your rims? If you are running 10" wide rims, you will keep popping a bead. For a 35 you want 9" rims, of course, heavy right foot can still pop your shoes off but going from a 10 to a 9 makes a big difference.

Should be particularly hard to pop a bead at 15+ psi on a 12.5in wide tyre in a 9in rim. Glad the shakedown went well. That car will provide a steep learning curve my friend.
