Over a year later and I still can't believe I was blessed enough to be in that crowd to see him live on that stage. My 65 yr old mom and my Slipknot loving husband at my side while we vibed to this brilliant musician. One of best days of my life.
71 year old Army here. He actually credits two members of the legendary Wu Tang Clan as co-writers on the track "What If" since he used a sample of theirs. He loves and deeply respects the roots of Hip Hop. "MORE" and "ARSON" were the two single pre-release and title tracks for his album "Jack in the Box". You should react to the two MVs. He appropriately ended it with one of the new tracks "Future" with children's voices singing. 💜
We already knew he was a great performer by watching him on BTS' performances, but after HOBIPALOOZA I have a whole other level of respect for Hoseok, I mean, Jay lol He blew our minds that night. Hobi was the first member of the 7 to officialy release a solo album and to put up a performance like this as a headliner on one of the biggest music festivals in the world. And Jimin, our angel, flew to Chicago just to be with his hyung and support him.. adorable. There's a documentary on Disney+ and Weverse where you can see how this concert came to be. It's called "j-hope IN THE BOX". I love Hobi!
The intervention of Jimin when he speaks on Hobi’s vlive afterward was chief’s kiss. Because we all know that Hobi is that talented to make it on his own. Remember the snake incident how brave he was And yes, hobi is thankful for BTS as they believe in BTS and take of BTS, so Jimin’s at the vlive was chief‘s kiss
The thing about j-hope is that he writes from the perspective of a dancer and performer. He always has the catchiest melodies and flows that hit the exact right spot because he's an MC. He lives for the stage, he creates for the stage. He learned about hip hop through dance and it was classic old school hip hop beats that were his home base. East and West Coast. When he does his live dance freestyles (his blog series "Hope on the Street") the songs he plays are niche and classic old school hip hop beats. And those dual influences, dance and old school hip hop, drive his sound. Lyrically and conceptually, he's called J. Cole his muse even naming his studio and first album Hope World after Cole World. That actually all came full circle when he got to work with J. Cole on a very old school hip hop song he composed called On The Street (which you should totally check out). He does do a lot of fusion--Hope World was old school hip hop meets trap, dance, funk, jazz, a touch of EDM even, and Jack In The Box was East Coast boom-bap meets grunge, rock, gospel, and a couple elements of pop on a song or two. Anyway, I really think he's such a unique artist. As much range as his music has, his delivery has even more. So you never know what you're going to get from him but you know it's going to hit just right and it's going to be so *HIM.* I've always been impressed that he has such a distinct and identifiable brand but still manages to surprise and challenge fans. It gives him great longevity as an artist, I think. He's just one-of-one and has all the goods. A total star.
One of the few flexes I have in life - I attended this concert. Up front by the barrier - the only time in my life I’ve been at the barrier. It was the best concert in my life at that time, and I’ve seen some amazing ones (Tool, Heart, Aerosmith, Montrose, NIN, Metallica, Ozzy). The audience was lit and it wasn’t just ARMY, there were a lot of locals who were blown away. Medically I probably shouldn’t have been there, and I have trouble in crowds, but there was no way I was missing this one. Will never regret it. I went to two days because I wanted to see J Cole and attended a number of the sets because it’s good to see new artists. Hobi’s show - light years beyond all the rest. You could tell he had put in the work. It was flawless, it was insane, so well done. The only one as good as this one was the 2nd D-Day concert I saw. Both shows were so true to each of them as artists. You could see Hobi’s heart in this concert. It was him. Same for Yoongi’s. Part of the reason why I love BTS so much, they are always all-in for everything they do. They stan their fans as hard as we stan them, and it shows in what they give us. I’m loving how they are growing and sharing more of themselves in Chapter 2. Can’t wait to see what they bring back to the group in 2025. I have a goal, to stay alive long enough to see them when they comeback.
Fun to know that he met his role model, J. Cole in Lollapalooza and that’s how “on the street” came to life ❤️🩹 his life is legit god’s plan at every tiniest moments ❤
During the song What If they flashed an image on the screen of the late Russell Tyrone Jones or ODB from Wu-Tang Clan which is whom the track's sample is from. BTS and especially J Hope have always been amazing at paying homage to their influences and shouting out credit when it's due. Glad you enjoyed this.
Congratulations to JITB for being selected as the second best kpop album in history by Paste Magazine, and the only one in the top 30 that is all self-produced!!! I ❤Hobi.
He was the headliner for the Sunday night, He made history by breaking the record at Lollapalooza becoming the HIGHEST TICKET SELLING ARTIST IN 31 YEARS, That's our SUNSHINE 🌞 His favourite artist is JCOLE, JHOPE used to dance to his music when he was younger 💜🔥🤍 and JIMIN was up on a balcony at the side of the stage supporting him 💜🔥🤎 20:46.. PIECE OF PEACE. JHOPE right now in the military STAY, HEALTHY and REMEMBER YOUR LOVED ALWAYS 💜🔥💜
When I say I rewatch Hobipalooza many times I couldn't count, I am not lying. I can recite Hobi's ments and I feel like when I meet those people shown on the screen in real life, I would know them and say "Hey, you're the girl who appeared in Hobipalooza." It's been more than a year but I still feel the same goosebumps I felt the first time I saw this. I could remember how much I bawled my eyes out because of how proud I was of Hobi, (still am and forever will be). He worked so hard for this and truly his efforts did not betray him. He cemented himself as one of the best performers out there. 💜
When I saw this live on my tv, I was in a state of shock and awe! He did amazing showing everybody what an artist he is! The crowd knew the words to songs that had been released only a week or two. I can’t imagine his emotions. He’s the real deal whole package and my bias for sure!💜
when baseline started, they really muffled the crowd! the entire crowd surged screaming along with the lyrics of baseline as soon as it started! the coolest moment!!
One of the cool things about J-Hope doing this solo concert is that he doesn’t put himself front and center as a dancer, singer or rapper as much as he probably could and seems to be content with letting other members shine with his support. It was good to see his talent shine. Looking forward to what he has planned after military as he will be back before most of the others.
Hobi covered damn near every single genre of Lollapalooza single-handedly and I have rarely been so fiercely proud of another human being. The Marimba on Piece of Peace wrecks me every time.
trivia: lollapalooza's first time to sell out a sunday performance in its history, because that's the day jhope was performing. He sang to more than 100,000 people, majority army, but for those who weren't necessarily army, they were introduced to the music that BTS through jhope brought. Also, even the stage and his outfits are part of his narrative. as per BTS' usual, jhope's stage and song flow isn't just a simple list of his songs; every thing is tied up into his story of how he kept to himself in the box, like even if he's known to be sunshine, he has his dark side too. the first half of his program is dark, pertaining to his dark side, but because his dream is to be the hope for many, the second half is light (even his outfit) - stage and songs. there is someone who did a great analysis of this, i just forgot the channel. you will learn, as we all did, that BTS does not do things lightly; they dont just conceptualize, they do novels!
J-hope has such amazing musicality and I think that’s partly because of his hip-hop background. He feels every beat and is always grooving and moving. He never stands still, and all this combined with his years of experience contributes to his stage presence. He gets nervous like everyone else but he definitely doesn’t show it. Once he’s on stage, professional mode is on.
it’s crazy how charismatic Jhope performs in every condition. During this performance it was such a HOT summer; like the heat was real but that did not stop Jhope from killing it at his performance. He is a real performer; my favorite at that!!!!!
I’ve been waiting for your Hobipalooza reaction for ages my man! Thank you so much for your time. He indeed ate and left no crumbs as his first ever solo stage! Hoseok made such a history and breakthrough point in his career, can’t wait for his future projects 🥹♥️
He is a choreographer, the best dancer in the whole kpop industry in my opinion, singer, rapper, composer, songwriter, producer... He's absolutely the ACE of kpop 💜
Hobi is what we call in the ARMY as “The Golden Hyung” as he is brilliant at everything he sets his mind to, you will need to check out both Hope World & Jack In the Box Solo Albums as well as his solo songs within the BTS albums such as some of my personal favourites Mama, Boy Meets Evil, Outro:Ego, and his sub unit song with Jin & JK “Jamais Vu“ to see his diversity. Being an Ultimate Hobi bias it was really great to see Hobi do such an amazing job and really put all the solo stans and those haters to rest in the fandom that were talking shit & saying that Hobi didn’t really have any talent on his own without BTS. As Hobi would say thank you for your concern. 🙏
No encore because it was Lolla and they have to stop by a specific time. He actually could see that the other band (Green Day) was already ending their show (could see their fireworks before his own). I was at this concert, and it was amazing. Top 2-3 concerts I've ever seen, and I'm 57 years old with a lot of concerts under my belt by major acts over the years (BTS is also in that rank). This was a mix of songs from his first mixtape (Hope World), his new album (Jack in the Box), one BTS song as you recognized (Dynamite), and a couple of his solo songs with BTS (Ego and Just Dance). Terrific, amazing, FUN show. One note: the artist he mentioned during Chicken Noodle Soup were the original artist of the song. J-hope paid the artist (like $3M) for the sample and then wrote his own lyrics to it, telling his dance story. Then he released the song for free on SoundCloud. It's a song that means a lot to him because it helped spawn his career, in dance especially.
He literally is the BEST of the best. I have never seen an artist put on a show like this. He wanted to reach new audience with his music and he really did. His solo music is absolutely my favourite out of all their solos. I, in general, love absolutely LOVE hoseok's style of rap. He is my favourite rapper amongst the rapline. His music has evolved, he has experimented and executed different styles so well. He is just too good at what he does. Istg his music is just something else. Can't wait for his next comeback! 🩷💯
20:45 This song is Piece of Peace (P.O.P) and it’s from his first album Hope World. His biggest influence is J Cole, hence the name of his first album.
I was right in the middle of this crowd, and it was a night i will seriously never forget. The energy was amazing from Hobi and the people all around me. I was beyond proud to be Army that day 💜
I was there that night and it was INSANE. The crowd was nuts and Hobi is an insane performer, whether with BTS or solo! Glad you got to see your guy!!!
Love the fact that Jimin came all the way from Korea to support his Bro and give Hobi plenty of his world famous hugs - they are so close, these 7 guys. I am always impressed with their love for each other.
JHope is so unique and creative with his music. This whole performance was perfection. He was on fire!! He is singing songs from both his solo albums “Hope World” and “Jack In the Box” plus CNS with Becky G some more well known BTS songs. He is amazing!
That entrance and first song will forever be in the shortlist for the most awesome concert starts ever! He also did an amazing performance of his hit songs at an awards show, you should have a look!

I was there!!! In this video the crowd noise is really filtered. It was so loud!!! Lolla sold 110,000+ tickets for Sunday. I would say 60-70K were at JHope's stage, just a guess based on watching other stage for awhile. (Green Day other headliner playing at the same time) You would love both solo albums - Jack In The Box and Hope World - which most songs on this set are from. Would love a reaction to both albums top to bottom.
a lot of people who refuse to understand bts always say the boys are just robotic, they just sing what their agency tell them to sing, they don't know how to sing or rap. what these people don't know or refuse to know, is that every music BTS create, produce, perform, everything is from their own blood, sweat, tears and neurons. they have inputs in every creative aspect of their musical journey, and their dedication and love for their craft is so obvious in their discography, which is voluminous. Army is getting tired of trying to educate those who do not want to be educated, but thanks to younger army like you, you make it possible, for those who literally have no idea who these 7 normal boys from korea are, to "break the bts music and universe down" in ways they can probably understand, and, in that way, be able to see and maybe appreciate why we stan the global phenomenon called BTS. Bangtan sonyeondan.
Had bo doubt that you will be the person that will understand how incredible this performance is, and how much effort is put into every detail amd what a great performer and showman is jhope
@WrighteousJ - You should watch the JHope documentary about his making of this album and about performing at Lolapalooza. You will appreciate and resonate with all the hard work and dedication he put into this solo work.
he is heavily involved in each aspect of his performance, from music to band to choreography to blocking to drops to everything! he has that vision on what he wants to happen for an epic performance. he's like that with bts as well.
There’s a channel on UA-cam called Enjoy BTS More and she has excellent translations to this entire concert, probably labeled as part 1 and part 2 for before and after the break. You owe it to yourself to see the lyrics as you watch him perform. I never get tired of watching this concert. He IS a rockstar, for sure. I will download your song too. Good luck with your band’s future plans. I LOVE your reactions. You’re a great musician!
Fastest sellout of Lalapooza. Most single artist attended show with 100k+ He broke records Before the event, he told Jimin, "What if the field is empty?" He was worried no one would be there He comes out and the field is full of ARMY bombs. It was AWESOME!!! He brought me to BTS with Arson. Lyrics that can cause tears. After that, BTS, never going back. ;)
One of his influences is J cole, he always said he liked him even his name is inspired by him, fun fact he actually had the chance to meet him for the first time backstage at lollapalooza, after they collaborated on jhope’s song On The Street
Lollapalooza is such an amazing performance. Please keep in mind this is the first fully solo concert that Hobi has done, and it's so impressive how ARMY learned all the songs from the Jack in the Box album before this because it hadn't been out for that long when Hobi did this
You might enjoy Agust D final day of his tour and his 3 day encore concerts especially the last day. Jimin is actually watching jHope as he surprised jHope when he found out Hobie was not doing well. During the song Safety Zone Hobie kept looking up to his right (our left) where Jimin was sitting. Just having Jimin there Hobie was able to eat and sleep. Hobie lost so much weight getting ready for this that they had to tie his pants to him especially his white pants. Apparently they had the biggest turn out for this festival when jHope was annouced as headliner. 💜💜💜
Some of his influences -Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls, Wu-tang Clan, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Nas, A$AP Rocky , J. Cole. He didn't do an encore because he performed for exactly the amount of time he was allotted. In his live after, he said he was running out of time and was signaled to hurry up during his Korean chat.
A wild fact to keep in mind is that this is still Lollapalooza. Hobi performed his set at the exact same time as Green Day. His influence and army’s support blew a record number of ticket sales through the roof, so much so that they extended his original set time. People flew in from all over the world just to see him perform - every single person with a light (those are army bombs, which I’m sure you know anyway lol) came just for him. There’s a reason we refer to it as Hobipalooza - it was absolutely fuckin insane.
Late to see your reaction but I was there. He dropped the album like 12 days before his Lolla performance. We were streaming hard and trying to get the lyrics down so we could show him max support. When he said “you guys are fcking crazy” it felt SO GOOD! I’ve seen hundreds of live sets and Hobipalooza was the most surprising and thrilling set I’ve ever seen (in part because it was the first release of the full concept, stage design, etc.). I felt so alive. 💜💜💜
I'm so envious and also so glad you were there. I'm so thankful for every single person who was there for him. sadly it wasn't feasible for me, so all of you had to show him my love, and you did such a perfect job. I can't even count the number of times I've watched this set. I've been a fan of all sorts of music my whole life, and there is just something about this performance. and something about j-hope, always... but especially about him at Lolla and what he did on stage there. I'm really glad others see it.
I was reading your comment and crying how you all learned his songs to support him to the max. I am a big time Hobi’s Army first and BTS Army after. Hobi is the reason I became Army for BTS. I will never be in concert to see him in person because of my Phobia of big crowd. Thank you all the Armys there to support our boy Hobi. Hobi is very much underrated in out of all BTS member so I always have soft spot for him. He is the all rounder. The best dancer of K-POP industry. Perfectionist. This whole show, every detail is overseen by Hobi. I watch this Hobipalooza everyday along with his dance compilation. Thank you for all the BTS Armys and whoever there to supported and showed him love🫡🫡🫡🙏🙏🙏
@@UserFeb18Hi, I don't know how strong your crowd phobia is but it may be possible for some with crowd phobia to enjoy Hobi live at a festival one day. I was there in Chicago. If you're willing to see him from afar (from the back or the far sides) it's totally possible to rock out and have a full arms length all around you. Like you could twirl around with your arms totally outstretched. A lot of people who don't like being squished or were new to Hobi hung out at the outer edges. Sorry about your crowd phobia. I thought some army were unnecessarily scaring other army to not go to Lolla so I just wanted to give anyone scared an option. It's not necessary to be front and center to enjoy Hobi's electric energy. I'm also a Hobi fan first, ARMY second 😊
This was an outstanding performance! He owned that stage, that festival and that city. He had the largest crowd Lolla ever saw. Jimin was there that night, sitting in a balcony above stage right (Hobi pointed to him during Safe Zone).
His charisma is on another level his stage presence is something you rarely see even with western artist and his artistry is on another level too he has some gold ears and you can tell hearing those crazy flows of his and seeing him dance or even just moving around the stage he does not miss a single bate it is crazy! It might seems crazy but he reminds me of MJ .. that chemistry with the stage and music? it is something I have not seen since MJ I'm so sure the world will see it too one day too obv to ignore
What if I told you the album Jack in the Box which you commented everyone was singing every word to, had only come out like a week before Lolla. j-hope is insane and like he said his fans are fucking crazy! Loved watching this with you, somebody actually added subs to the whole concert including all the songs which i highly recommend
I was thinking about it and realized that as much as I love the subs in general, if I'm going to watch the whole concert I want to experience it without them, personally. It's closer to the experience of being there, then.
1) You should look at the video of the behind the scene how this was put together, rehearsal with the dancers, the band, him singing singing. 2) And the video after concert was over, talking about feelings first time without members.
Rapline influences are all outlined in their song Hip Hop Phile! Hobi’s main idol is J Cole, he fell in love with his music as a street dancer. They did a collab together earlier this year before Hobi went off to the military! He also named his first mixtape “Hope World” in honour of Cole!
Not checking the other comments, but he sold 105,000 tickets, more than any other Lollapalooza headliner. Plus had 10 million views on Weverse, plus don't know how many in the United States on Hulu. All simultaneous broadcast. This was a new album at the time and the crowd knew every word. Jimin came to support and was up on the balcony stage right.
Hobi has had a lot of influence on BTS and their music too. Their song “Dionysus” has a lot of Hobi’s lyrics and work in it. You really can’t put BTS in one genre. They individually and together like to try new things.

Yes, the band was amazing. The Jack in the box album, amazing. His old songs of his mixtape Hope World are also so lit. He is such a talent. I recomend you watch the behind the scenes for the concert. The amount of work and dedication is astonising.
Look I know that I’m kinda bragging rn and I apologize in advance. Yoongi has been my bias for 8 years. I was front row barricade for 3 nights. He was AMAZING. But I got front row - and not barricade but front row photo pit for Hobi. And that was the best day of my life. You think he has charisma. Multiply it by 100 and you’ll come a little closer. He was HIM. And I was blessed to be there. Thank you for appreciating him.
BTS and BTS members' live performances>>> J-hope killed it 🔥 I've seen Lollapalooza at least 40 times and I'm not even joking. His energy and stage presence was insane and the crowd was so loud too 🔥🔥 Armys are the best 💜
I reiterate, since Im rewatching, 105 K there in person, 10-15 million watching Weverse + hulu, etc. and he was in the original promotion for Jack in the Box so the audience had to memorize it quickly. Maybe the most impressive moment in BTS history, since he was the fiest to solo. Huge venue. Jimin flew over to lend support, or J-Hope might not have been able to eat for nerves! He ran the whole concert in rehearsal soany times. What a professional!
In addition to the old school 1990s greats of hip hop he knows his stuff. The fact that the ODB estate okayed the sample was dope. J. Cole is one of his biggest inspirations. He has happened to specifically mention Doggy Style by Snoop as an album he danced to when he younger when asked. He posted an LV fashion show where Kendrick Lamar performed, and he said he was really impressed with Travis Scott's performance that he watched online. He danced to Nujabes in his Hope on the Street 2020 live. He has such varied tastes when it comes to music overall. P. O. P. Pt.1 is proof of that.
There's this Gestalt view that the whole is greater than the sum of its individual parts. I think this is especially true for a band like BTS. However, this doesn't mean that the individual members don't soar and shine so broghtly when they perform solo. I really enjoy all 7 of them as artists, and with J-Hope I think he is such an incredible versatile entertainer. He has a beautiful singing voice, you could hear that especially in Mama, if you haven't checked that song out yet. I really look up to Hobi for being a perfectionist but also a humble soul and well grounded at the same time. He's really Army's Sunshine.Oh! And I find Hobipalooza is a LOT like a rock opera on stage vibe-wise.
Oh I'm so glad you chose Hobi to de-stress with. There's no better choice. On the one hand I wish you had seen a version with English subtitles but on the other hand I'm really glad you could relax and sink into the musicality and his facials, gestures, performances, without having to worry about reading at the same time. Lyrics can always be checked out later but experiencing hobipalooza for the first time will only happen once! Hope your endeavors turn out well and your team's hard work pays off. Even a casual viewer like me can you see you put so much thought, passion, and work into your music and have a real appreciation for your fans. That is the recipe for success so keep it up and I wish you all the best!
J-Hope told J. Cole that he was his muse when he got the opportunity to meet him for the very first time. J. Cole was also one of the headliners at Lallapalooza 2022. J-Hope was so cute and giddy when he met J. Cole behind the scenes. J. Cole was so kind and gracious to J-Hope. It was just too sweet and too cool...
J-hope is one of the best artists in the world of this generation!! I'm very happy when I see someone who really understands music, valuing their work!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Some of J-hope's hip hop influences are J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, but you can hear all sorts of hip hop greats playing on some of his dance freestyle sessions - Tupac, the Fugees, Nas, etc. There's a BTS song called Hip Hop Phile where the rap line pay respects to their influences and rattles off their names. Also, the song "What If" samples Ol' Dirty Bastard from the Wutang Clan. Last thing, that song you really liked - P.O.P (Piece of Peace) at 20:46 is off of his first mixtape, "Hope World."
Outro:Ego, the second dance song in the latter half, was put on the set list because the original tour for that album was cancelled due to Covid. BTS had a sold out world tour for their album Map of the Soul: 7 that unfortunately went down the drain in 2020. This was Hobi’s solo track on it that armys were really excited for.
-actually Hoba is my guy lol he’s my BTS bias and apart of ult-bias list. One of his biggest hip-hop influences is J.Cole. There’s a video of him first ever meeting J.Cole and it’s incredibly adorable along with other interactions with J.Cole on their song “Hope on the street”
I look to all your videos cause I could't believe you havent react to Hobi work, HOPIPALOOZA was an another level, just pure talent I love it so much!!!!!

Over a year later and I still can't believe I was blessed enough to be in that crowd to see him live on that stage. My 65 yr old mom and my Slipknot loving husband at my side while we vibed to this brilliant musician. One of best days of my life.
That had to have been a blast! He put on such a good show!
Wow envy you. Greetings from Tricity in Poland. Im order Army , over 45 yold 😅

The vibe was indescribable. It was a hot summer night in Chicago and it was electric. I will never forget it.
THAT’S YOUR GUY
And absolutely free and fierce...

My Ult. bias since day 1
His dancing and stage presence really helped to draw me in....

Remember the snake incident how brave he was
And yes, hobi is thankful for BTS as they believe in BTS and take of BTS, so Jimin’s at the vlive was chief‘s kiss
Take care
Love this! I agree 💯
Lucky!!!! I wish I could see JHope live. I’ve watched this 4 times already 💜
Wow. Was at the 3rd D-Day concert in Chicago. Wish I could have been at J-Hope’s concert. Everything you say is true.
This album was only released a few days before this concert and ARMY already knew every word.
Fun to know that he met his role model, J. Cole in Lollapalooza and that’s how “on the street” came to life ❤️🩹 his life is legit god’s plan at every tiniest moments ❤
What is remarkable to me is Hobi’s Jack in the Box was only out for a week or so- yet the audience sang along to every song!!!
I can see why he is your guy. RM has described Hobi as the most professional one amongst BTS 💜
Yeah and they fear their dance master Hobi too for that reason!
Also, I got to be there in person and I've never been in a crowd more electric and engaged. It was such a great night. And I was so proud.
I drove 12 hours to see Hobi there and was so proud when we found out that lola reached their all time high sales thanks to our boy.
Yeah!!! Novels with mind bending story lines. Even the graphic novel, The 7 Fates Chakho.
You’re so cool and wise 🥹 Thank you for being a fan of Hobi 🥹♥️
Jhope is AMAZING ❤💜🇸🇻🇰🇷💜
Oh, thank goodness you saw this -- knowing you're a J-Hope bias, I was like, he NEEDS to see Hobipalooza!
Love the fact that Jimin came all the way from Korea to support his Bro and give Hobi plenty of his world famous hugs - they are so close, these 7 guys. I am always impressed with their love for each other.
"This whole thing is just hard work and dedication." FACTS!!!
I’ll never get over Hobipalooza! What an artist and performer jhope is!

I’ve watched this performance probably 50 times and I only love it more each time - JHooooooooope!!
same! 💜
You will appreciate and resonate with all the hard work and dedication he put into this solo work.
he is heavily involved in each aspect of his performance, from music to band to choreography to blocking to drops to everything! he has that vision on what he wants to happen for an epic performance. he's like that with bts as well.
i don't even know how many times i've rewatch this but still here i am again... 😆
Most single artist attended show with 100k+
He broke records
Before the event, he told Jimin, "What if the field is empty?" He was worried no one would be there
He comes out and the field is full of ARMY bombs.
Also was pumped to see you have a local show Dec 2. We are out of town but will try to catch a local one soon!
It was 75 minutes of electricity in the air. I felt so alive too.
Jimin was there in person he traveled all the way to America to support JHope. This was incredible he did such a good job our sunshine ☀️💜
Another commenter says 14 million on Weverse. Plus Hulu
Our boy is Amaizing🏆!!His album JITB is #2 on the list of The Best Kpop Albuns of all time👏. Hobi te amo!!!
Just Dance is a bop!!! I remember this moment clearly at the concert in 2018
“I don’t know what he’s saying but I like it” you’re so army
Hobi has had a lot of influence on BTS and their music too. Their song “Dionysus” has a lot of Hobi’s lyrics and work in it. You really can’t put BTS in one genre. They individually and together like to try new things.
They know all the words AND his album had only just come out 16 days before this! We’re a very dedicated bunch 😂 (I was there near the front!)
Ohhhhh that's so cool!

BTS and BTS members' live performances>>>
J-hope killed it 🔥 I've seen Lollapalooza at least 40 times and I'm not even joking.
I can't imagine a world without J-hope, Jung Hoseok!! Thank you for the reaction!
20:40 The song is "Piece of Peace" for j-Hope's previous mixtape "Hope World"
Hobipalooza was this fifty-something's first music festival. Unforgettable! Hobi set the bar very, very high.
JCole is a big influence. JHope even has an album called Hope World influenced by Cole World
There's this Gestalt view that the whole is greater than the sum of its individual parts.
I was literally watching your reaction but i end up watching Jhope's performance😂
Hobi is my guy too my ultimate bias 💜 Great reactions 👏😍
Most amazing concert I ever attended! Had so much fun. Hobi was impressive (as he always is)
Piece Of Peace is the song you asked about-it's amazing!
Hobiii!! My guy! My bias! I've seen this performance so many times! Thanks for finally reacting!
For me the Best Concert Ever! Jhope gives you so many emotions and vibes, it's overwhelming. I love him. 💜💜
Jhope is a born entertainer.
20:46 is Piece of Peace from his first mixtape Hope World! Baseline and Hangsang are also on here. He’s doing a mix of Hope World and Jack in the Box!
This concert is so wow!!!! We need solo concerts by hobi when he comes back ❤❤❤
I’m so in love with the audience from HobiPalooza. (Including me. I was there lol). The audience definitely added to the show!
20:41 This song is “piece of peace” from his Hopeword mixtape. Lyrics are so beautiful in this one ❤️🩹
I love the way you say THAT'S MY GUY everytime you see him 😂💜
-actually Hoba is my guy lol he’s my BTS bias and apart of ult-bias list.
