I swear my brain cannot understand how seven human beings can sing the way they did here while giving their everything. Specially while singing run, AFTER FIRE. Fire is such an intense song with a pretty hard choreo, and they started singing Run like it was nothing. HOWWWWW
I call this one of their "energizer bunny" performances. They don't get a break the whole time except for maybe their walking around. Just a note as to their concern for ARMYs, when they were in Saudi Arabia, when they did the song "Bapsea" the hip thrust were removed as it would have been disrespectful. Also at the end of the show they did not bow as you only bow to Allah, they just waved to their audience. The attention to detail is next level. They all learn some words for every country they perform in. The love and respect they show is awesome.

Also watched J-Hope at Lalapalooza and was mesmerized by how he switches from a smashing hard rock rap guy from the the first half of the show to and amazing pop, jazz artist in the 2nd half. One thing I never noticed before actually attending a BTS concert was the level to which they plan everything out. They literally have it sync'd up to when they throw water into the crowd on certain songs with 1 member in each corner, and also when they grab the smoke guns. Prior to that i had always assumed it was random, but seeing the same show live multiple days you notice it, and it just adds to the mad respect to make every moment even the ones work well.
70 year old ARMY here. I have seen 2 or three other live medleys and they are all good. Maybe do another one sometime? Maybe check out Jimin's new collab with Taeyung, from BIGBANG, a group that debuted in 2006. Jimin always looked up to him since BTS first started. This is a comeback for Taeyang I was told. It dropped Thurs evening here on the West Coast and has 32 mil+ views here on UA-cam. It's called "Vibe" and yes it is!

Easy. Unlike other Boy Bands in 'Murica. Our boys are from Korea. HUGE DIFFERENCE. They learned how to 'sing'? while 'running on a simple ' machine?' in your gyms. Whatever they're called. So they've learnt how to stagger their 'breaths'....between dance movements and their choreography ....their Dance Master...figured out...how to choreograph ALL SEVEN MEMBERS... has been done in a way....SO all have a chance to 'breath/relax' during their particular video/performance. Despite what came after. ........and trust me. THEY are...singing....while dancing. It is why they are untouchable, Darling......... 💜💜
Have been watching live music of all kinds for 4 decades. Have never seen anything as engaging as BTS. Then nearest I can think of was seeing Iron Maiden live back in the 80's & more recently Rammstein.. Sounds weird to compare such different artists but it was the same rush. You have to watch J Hop live at Lollapalooza last year if you're a J Hope fan, think you'd like 'Arson' & 'More'

Funny how things have changed for these award shows. There was a time that BTS was cut off from a live show w/o even telling them. BTS “begged” the organizers to perform for Armys who came to see them. So with no stage lights and confetti on the floor, our boys performed. RM was injured at that time so there were only 6 of them. The fans had a blast. These boys gave their all and even when the stage was dark, cameras were turned off and live show was done, they still performed for the Armys. That is why we are so damn loyal to these boys for their endless love for Armys and passion. A year later, they made it so huge in the US and in Latin countries that these shows now “beg” BTS to perform. But BTS was never vindictive. They give respect even though they got disrespected. They would show up to these shows and perform like there’s no tomorrow. Now, diss on their lyrics is a different story! 😉

As you’ve learned there is nothing to compare to the combo of professionalism and chaos of BTS live. They have so damn many hot songs the medleys switch up each ruler and let them fit in a bu ch of older fan favorites into a short hype burst.
I was lucky enough to go to see BTS in concert and go to Hobipalooza and they are amazing live performers! You have so much fun and wish it never ended!
I would also recommend J-Hope at New Years Rockin Eve 2022 he saluted as per normal

Funny how things have changed for these award shows. There was a time that BTS was cut off from a live show w/o even telling them. BTS “begged” the organizers to perform for Armys who came to see them. So with no stage lights and confetti on the floor, our boys performed. RM was injured at that time so there were only 6 of them. The fans had a blast. These boys gave their all and even when the stage was dark, cameras were turned off and live show was done, they still performed for the Armys. That is why we are so damn loyal to these boys for their endless love for Armys and passion. A year later, they made it so huge in the US and in Latin countries that these shows now “beg” BTS to perform. But BTS was never vindictive. They give respect even though they got disrespected. They would show up to these shows and perform like there’s no tomorrow. Now, diss on their lyrics is a different story! 😉
