  • This hibachi BBQ grill welding project took about 2 hours to make from steel remnants and only requires a tape measure, angle grinder and welder. (some other tools that I used are nice, but not necessary) My grill is 6" x 24", but you could make one any size. I hope this inspires you to get out in the garage and build something too.

    I love going back to a UA-camrs first video! 😁 It's a great video but you can definitely see the progress over the years. I am curious, are you a professional welder? What's your day job?

      Buy a ryobi grinder and a cut off wheel. Total cost? About 45 bucks. The welding part is iffy. Might as well use screws and a drill.

      The homeless version is the $19.99 hibachi at Walmart 🙂

    Adding handles to the cooking grate and charcoal grated would have been practical.

    I have a ton of projects in mind but no time to weld or record. It's nice to turn scrap into useable items.

    Great bbq you did here, I'm a welder l made one a month ago, basically same as this one, but l used an inverter stick welder, and l used lengths of 8mm round stainless bar for the top and is hinged, and 6mm drilled holes along the bottom for the charcoal to get air

    What kinda Flux core wire did you use

    • @TimWelds
      @TimWelds  4 роки тому +1

      I used solid MIG wire with shielding gas on this project. If you’re looking for a good all around flux core wire, I recommend E71T-11.
