Garuda WisnuKencana Culture Park featuring a giant
statue. The statue depicts the Hindu God Vishnu riding the mythological Garuda bird. It is the Indonesia’s tallest statue and third tallest structure worldwide. The statue is made of copper, brass, with gold mosaic and weighs around 4000 tonnes, making it the heaviest statue in Indonesia. The distinctive feature of the statue is that the sculpture sits atop a building base, which is used as a restaurant and museum. Visitors can climb inside the statue to its chest level. From that height, visitors can experience the most panoramic view of the island of Bali.
