My daughters halmeoni worked in s*x work for a really long time. After she was too old she because a house mom for the girls and would keep them "in line" and safe because most of them didn't speak English very well. She was gone out of state a lot so she just left her son's to live in an apartment. My mother sent me to a mental hospital and when my insurance ran out she just never picked me up. So I ended up being homeless as a teen. When I met my daughters dad he was like "wanna be my girlfriend? I've got my own apartment you can come live there?" Like f yes I will be your girlfriend lol was a bad idea but now my daughter is 24 and is the best person I know so I guess we have to go through some difficult shit to get to the good part sometimes.

True story my late grandma LOVED telling:
