Unfortunately can’t be done solo, quantum pike will let you ride it up though but need an observer

Not if you have finished the mission already as there will not be a portal if you have.

Since the new exotic auto choir of one was leaked I'm hoping that the exotic mission is going to include Galaxy pool.. Personally I stop playing destiny to after final shape because I don't see a reason to play... If act 2 was not going to have a new side arm and pulse rifle I wouldn't even bother bother; unless they added the promised exotic quest because remember what they said each episode will have one exotic quest mission.. That information is even on the infographic photo of the episodic content.
