Thank you for the cool “insider’s view” of the dome - as you said, it pretty much defines the Syracuse skyline - if you sit up on the lawn of Woodlawn Reservoir on the west side of Syracuse, especially in autumn, the whole eastern side of the Syracuse valley and the Eastern/SU ridge are a sight to behold…. I knew Pete back when he worked at SU’s Anisley Drive Physical Plant Ops HQ - I was a Jr at Corcoran HS and did my summer job working on the intra-dorm moving truck crew, for SU’s Residence and Dinning Services Dept. We’d get called to the dome every so often to move this or unload a tractor trailer of whatever… Pete drove a red Ford 4x4 pickup and even back then, he was always working and always had a huge key ring w/ what seemed to be a hundred keys…. During my tenure as a student and walk-on at SU, I got to work “Dome Event” security at all of the big concerts during the early and mid-80s… and like Pete nowadays, I too once had a head of bushy hair, lol

    Very cool stadium.
I've noticed that smaller stadiums are gonna be paramount to the future of sports (

Sadly these types of domes are gone. Theyre classic. Carrier and Tropicana are the only 2 remaining
