I see many, many things wrong with this picture. You can't treat chinchillas like rabbits.

Not that many things wrong but the cage is unsuitable nonetheless. However, chinchillas and rabbits are very similar in not only in the fact they need hay. Both need plenty of fiber and have constant growing teeth hence why they need hay. Chinchillas tend to rest in burrows like rabbits do. Chinchillas and rabbits both growl (?) and lunge when angry. They both lie sideways to indicate they are relaxed. Chinchillas have a lot in common with rabbits and both need lots of space.
