How to change your oil in a Yamaha WaveRunner 1.8L SVHO-HO.

I could be wrong but I believe he has an upgraded super charger shaft. Not sure he mentioned it.

Northeast Florida Personal Watercraft lol I agree I just did my first oil change on gp 1800 r my dealer quoted 200 and 2 weeks just to change oil not filter !!! So I invested in a nice extractor and was able to remove almost 4 quarts !!!

What do you use to trap the oil when you remove the filter? Just use shop towels or something else?

Ian Prindle No just save your receipt for when you did the oil change just in case you ever need to show them

Yea the top needs to be removed but not hard once you figured out how to take the top off.

Why do they make the dip stick dark I can’t tell if I put to much in. I put 3.7 in hope it’s not to much on my 22 vx curiser ho
