I had a relative who had a painless birth. She has had four sons practically one after the other and is so content, happy, and beautiful when she's pregnant and calm during labor with no epidurals. No screaming, just deep breathing and an ocassional laugh of very mild irritation and pure joy when her baby started to come out. I saw her second to last baby's birth first hand and she claims that it's just a mental thing and that people need to stop perceiving childbirth with pain and anxiety and prepare properly, mentally and physically (food and body) wise. Don't let the women in the comments scare you. Goodluck on this wonderful journey! :) 💗

Does she feel other types of pain? Just asking because some rare people don’t feel pain.

Yup. There is no physiological reason for pain in birth outside of fear and strain. The pain is real. I've had painful births. But it's learned, not inherent.

Are you saying that having fear about it and tensing up is what causes the pain?

I gave birth drug free almost three years ago with my first baby. Yes, there was pain but it wasn't as bad as I really expected based on horror stories from other women. I'm due with our second child in December and hope to deliver med free again🙏🙏🙏 hopefully a faster delivery and I can relax even more.

My second was better then my first despite the first being 6.5 lbs an the second being 8.5 lbs. I read the hypnobirthing book and it really reset my mind I believe this was a big help. I'm due my third in Feb. Your going to be even more surprised how easy this next birth is ☺️ you got this strong mamma.

Animals appear to have far less pain and trauma. This alone suggests that much of the pain exists in our minds. Dr. George Carey shared biochemical, clinical studies of pain free labor and delivery in a book called, "The Biochemic System of Medicine".

It absolutely is about your mindset. But you also have to be in a private setting to be comfortable. Think about it like this...* Could you use your vibrator comfortably right now* if you could, such as in your bathroom alone, then you will stay relaxed and have no pain. It is simply discomfort. If the answer is no, such as in the hospital in front of 12 interns, you will not relax and you will have pain and fear. Privacy preparation comfort. This is key. I'll never give birth in a hospital again. I had a unassisted unmedicated birth. Could not be happier. No Dr, no nurse, no one but me, baby and God

    This is a good reminder!
My first was 17 hours of high level induction due to HELLP syndrome with an emergency c-section (zero pain with the induction). The spinal they gave during surgery didn’t work so I used my hypnobabies to deal with it.
My second was 4 days of labor with 12 hours of pushing. Only pain I had was my hip popped out (which my chiropractor came and put back in during labor) and the fact the epidural didn’t work for surgery. I would take the pain free days of labor and hours of pushing any time over how horrible the epidural felt (like when you try to walk when your foot is asleep but over your entire body). I again had to use hypnosis for surgery since he got stuck the last 9 hours due to unknown scar tissue adhesions from the previous surgery.
My hypnosis isn’t working the best during this third pregnancy, so I’m trying to get in the right mental state and practice my breathing. Thankfully all the scar tissue is gone and my uterus is actually fully expanded this time. Praying for a joyful and pain free birth this December.
Pressure waves are more like a tightening and hugging your baby down. It isn’t something to fear. Relax into them, instead of fighting them.

Painless pitocin induction, I used nitrous oxide but I couldnt get it to work so instead chewed on the mouth piece and chewed ice chips 😂
I was walking and talking the entire time, even through transition. The midwives freaked out when I told them I needed to push, they weren't prepared for birth yet 😂

My daughter had a painless childbirth when she was 18. She did not prep for it in any way. She was experiencing preeclampsia and was induced with pitocin. The medical staff kept asking her to rate her pain level and she kept saying she didn't feel any. It was bizarre that they kept encouraging her to choose a number. She kept looking to me to assist as she clearly wasn't feeling any pain that could be rated. Nonetheless, they gave her an epidural. I've had two children and even with pain meds and epidural, the pain was excruciating. After the baby was born, I asked her GYN about it and he said it's rare but it does happen that some women do not experience labor pain.

Why did they give her an epidural when she had no pain? Perhaps her mind shut off the pain receptors and the docs were concerned about whether it was so painful she did not feel it. Lol

IDK about you guys but I did not EXPECT for the pain to be as bad as it was for my first birth. I thought I was going to be able to handle it and it would be a breeze..................... I WAS WRONG and now that Im pregnant with my second child I'm some going through anxiety because of the first birth. I will keep these video in mind because I do want a smooth birth 😞
