Reallly dope!! Who doesn’t love piloted mechs and crab robots fighting alien creatures. Such an 80’s vibe from the line for me. I have to see how much I like the new movie. I almost don’t want to love the new film because if I DO it will cost me $$$ in McFarlane figures 😂
I'm expecting the new one to be better than the original, I'll be surprised if it isn't
For me, the new film is a masterpiece. Prepare yourself to spend a lot of money.

Nice review. I like your straight forward approach. No need to spend 15 minutes on the packaging with a discussion about Cameron's film catalogue.
I really like these Avatar mechs. I picked up the AMP suit, and I'll be looking for this one, too. $40 is a great price for this.
Love the use of the two flight stands for posing this beast! I'm all in on this line and can't wait until they release more human characters to pilot the new mech and this crab suit. My only complaint so far has been the wrist joints on the Na'vi figures.
There is a whole team of Marine/Navi hybrids in the sequel, do a google image search for "Avatar Recombinants," I really hope Todd delivers some of those characters, they look SICK

@@kevaindepardieu In this video I’m using some McFarlane DC Multiverse flight stands, but the ones I use most frequently are Obitsu brand, found on Amazon.

Need more of the sea vehicle range for sure. Imagine an expanderbable interstellar transport with shuttles. Dang.
For Marine Army builder, try getting the Jazwares Halo Marine pack of 3, they fit perfectly inside the Amp Suit.

It’s a great piece, and can work as a piece of a Atlantean tech for DC. There’s a Black Manta sub coming for the new Aquaman movie, seeing this with the turbine etc makes me totally see it lol

What a cool yet creepy toy.
I really feel like these toys will explode on the market after The Way of Water comes out. Star Wars toys didnt really explode until after The Empire Strikes Back.

@@bigboi4488 I disagree, we got one of the RMP drivers with the smaller scale crab mech so it’s possible they’ll sell the normal scale too soon
@@bigboi4488 The only other ones that come to mind are General Ardmore and Wainfleet.
It would be cool if Avatar 3 shows Jake or other Navi stealing a Crab mech and use it to fight the RDA. In Avatar 2, these mechs were only given short screen time.
Crab suits and the hexbugs in Avatar 2 are my favorites

Got the wave for this movie about 2 weeks ago at my local target. crabsuit was the first and very cool especially the possibility for it so i agree that i enjoy as much as the amp suit. please do the jake bro because for me personally i love these figures a lot and even neytiri is my favorite. wish i had that skimwing though 😂. anyways great review and keep them coming bro 👍

My MCFARLANE get ops crab hands don’t turn. I mean the wrist turns but not the metal cylinders. Maybe it’s too hard to turn
Is that a gattling machine gun on the right forearm ? I wonder if those two holes on the rt side is where missles come out.
I don't think it's a gun, I'm guessing that the crabsuit is non-military, like a mining vehicle or something, and it ends up being used in battle. But that's just my theory, can't wait to see the movie and find out

Have you tried laying the figure on its stomach with the legs going back into the hatch area of the cockpit???

Is the figure about as big as a G.I. Joe? Because that crab ship would make a good Cobra vehicle. Maybe even with the Joy Toy figures, it would be a good ship.
@SteakJuice I was thinking the exact same thing. I’m collecting the classified line and I’m always looking for other companies’ vehicles to double as either Cobra or Joe machines.

I don't know about your particular piece, but mine has a problem with its front right 'shoulder' joint: it has some very serious range of motion issues that I think is due to it not being attached properly OR that it is the same as the left one and therefore can't be symmetrically positioned- in short it has 2 left arms.

James Cameron likes the water doesn't he? Probably part of some sort of group or society about ocean protection but in reality hes a bad guy and has an underwater base with fleets of these and larger shark mechs... Probably not...
