    You know it's gonna be a good fight when you think it's a snag and it turns out to be a fish. For channel cats, we love to use cut Bluegill and Shrimp. Works like a charm and catches us some behemoths if you can find the right location

      Haha right? I also feel like anyone who catfishes and has a UA-cam channel has at least one video titled the snag started moving out something similar lol.
      I've been hearing a lot of people recommending shrimp. I'll have to give it a go! I appreciate the tip!

      That is great that yall have caught some nice fish there in the past! Have yall ever caught any catfish there that weren't channel catfish?

      I caught the biggest catfish with my life up towards Yardley in the Delaware River with a number-one snelled hook and 1 oz Bank sinker a piece of raw shrimp that was probably no bigger than a man's thumb nail I thought it was a snag it was on a ugly stik combo medium I think it had about 8 lb test fish 30" at almost 10 lbs I did not have a scale I did not take fishing and Seriously as I do today also I was set up like a striper rig on a swivel

    Cougar a few white cats and occasional bullhead in the fall once temps drop. I can’t explain it - one of those places that’s either off the hook or sucks. LSt June, I had a ball catching schoolies stripers up to 26’ on livers clams and top water. This year I prob went 3-4x in early-mid June not a single bass
    Same with carp bite. When it’s on you’ll catch 3-4 in a couple hour session. Go back a week later fish harder don’t get a bite
    Hard to figure that place

    • @delconashvilleline
      @delconashvilleline  Рік тому

      That's cool! I've never caught a white catfish.
      Thanks for the tips! Good to know it's either hit or miss. I feel like a lot of that area is like that.

      Delco is a great area! Recording the videos isn't too bad, it's the editing that is the most time consuming.

    How did you not get snagged every cast? I tried that place about a month ago at high tide and got sick of losing tackle lol.

    • @delconashvilleline
      @delconashvilleline  Рік тому +1

      Haha in fairness I cut the times that we got snagged from the video. But between the two of us we probably fished for 2.5 hours and each snagged 2 to 3 times. I'm not sure how we didn't snag more often. I feel like it was just that we got lucky.
