@Simon Hurley • I really liked the tip about using the cutter to get a perfectly aligned cut. I love to make cards that are sectional (rather than just a uniform background.) I wasn't crazy about the stencil over the raincoat and puddle until you mounted it on the stenciled background. In my view that totally changed them. P.S. Have you thought about doing only 1 card per video? I find it easier to remember the techniques/stamps/stencils, etc., when the video focuses on a single card. Just a thought.
Loved the way you stamped the umbrellas to make the background so bright and cheery. Also great tip to cut the card to give the super cool raindrop background. Great ideas.

I like what you did with the umbrellas, and I like the polka dots on the raincoat (not so much the puddle, but I get the idea of why, to tie the whole card together) but I think the girl in the rain is my favorite of all. As I don't have the items to make cards like these, I plan to use the same ideas on another style of card, but hey, isn't that what it's about? Using what you have to create cards that are 'you'? The 1st one is my favorite. All 3 are great. When you apply heat to your embossing powders, you do it right over the container with the powder. It make me nervous when you do that. I have learned the hard way that it isn't good to do that.

Very clever of you! Keep up the good work! I used to use chalk to color in the stamps. I'm disabled now and I have a frozen right hand in a fist. Only my thumb and forefinger work, with pain. Never thought about using repeating a stamp for a background/frame for the sentiment and focus part of the card. Job well done 👍 I usually use a certain antique French Renaissance and antique ephemera items to make cards but this whimsy way looks so fun!

Love the little girl with the shimmering raindrop background. Although I am also partial to your polka-dot stencil. I like how you tied everything together with that pattern on the first card (although I may have lost track of the order).
How do you get such intense ink colors? Mine hardly ink at all. Even brand new pads that were sealed in plastic. Should I have to re ink when brand new?
Ink is released from the pad with pressure. Maybe you are not applying enough pressure to get ink out of the pad? Try applying a bit more pressure and I hope you will find better results. :)
@@simon.hurley I’ve definitely tried that. I use a Misty and have to press long and hard and repeatedly. I repress the pad onto the stamps over and over. I apply pressure and different types of paper.
