Thought of a what if scenario recently where the ninjas are knights. It's a part of my Earth 3 / evil inverted universe idea.
The ninjas are knights who serve the Golden King Lloyd Garmadon. Rather than dragons, they have pegasuses with Lloyd having a gryphon/griffin. Wu is an evil wizard/mage whilst Garmadon is a good wizard/mage or maybe something similar to Etrigan the Demon.
