Hi Scotty! This was super helpful to fix our wolf gourmet that is from 1996. I didn't need to remove the oven door spring as I was able to access the screw by just pushing aside the spring. I took your tip of connceting the ignightor directly to the spark/gas module. This old oven had an extra wire with wire connector. I learned how the ignightor would glow and one has to wait a few extra seconds before the burner goes on. When first testing and if the oven burner didn't turn on, I had switched off the oven thinking that my install wasn't proper.
Glad you got your oven fixed too! And thanks for the info on the ignitor. It sounds like how a gas furnace works; there is a few seconds of delay after the ignitor glows before the gas valve opens .
That wasn't explained very well. You're right in that the main problem was the breached burner. I think my brother replaced the ignitor as a preventative measure because it was original and it was recommended by the supply house to replace it with the burner.
Like my brother mentioned in the video, the part number depends on the model and serial number of your oven and they vary. Call this distributor with your serial number (he showed where to find it on your oven) and they will give you the part numbers. www.midwestdistributing.com/OpenPages/Owner.aspx

Nice repair Scotti. I has a gas range a few years ago. Went through quite a few igniters
confused why you needed new ignitor? couldnt' you have used the old one and just replaced the bake burner?

It would have helped if you could better cover removal of the door spring. The door spring is the MOST DIFFICULT piece to remove and re-adjust!
Yes, sorry. The footage I got was a little limited. Hope your fix went well.
Nice
