Druk Air Royal Bhutan Airlines ATR-42 Paro-Bumthang, Bumthang-Paro Trip Report

This is a video I took over a year ago from my domestic Druk Air flight from Paro International Airport in Western Bhutan to Bumthang Bathpalathang Airport in Central Bhutan. The flights were on Druk Air's sole ATR-42 and is one of only 4 domestic flights that operate in Bhutan

With one exemption, the airports in Bhutan are located at pretty high elevations and surrounded by mountains. Despite the challenges, Druk Air has a perfect safety record. The pilots have my full respect.

country has only two airport domestic n inter'nl soo i rather want to ask that is the price soo heavy ?

The country has three domestic airport (Bumthang, Trashigang, and Gelephu) and only one domestic airline so there is no competition on domestic. Additionally, it is my assumption that fares are regulated by the government because fares do not change with season or date and pricing on international routes on both Druk Air and Bhutan Airlines is always the same.
