Yeah the Thumbnail or Potrait is usually a Teaser image that Gives a small Artistic Expression of the figure in action. It doesn't always tell the story like watching the review. It's great to have viewers like yourself that appreciate and try to look for the positives in these figures or toys. That's what I try I do. It doesn't mean they are perfect or I like everything with the Figure. If it's that bad or I don't like a certain figure. I will not buy and review it..I tell the Truth and point out issues I see with the figures or at least the one I got in hand. But I want to be positive and really like what I'm showing and hopefully encourage others to feel the same way. Or watch the review and just not buy it. That's Ok too. No sence waisting money on what you see and don't like. But some people in the comments Can't say Bad enough things sometimes about these figures. It's fine to comment and not agree with me or the Toy I'm reviewing. But some people want the Whole line to end over somethings or how The Masterverse went about a certain Character. For the most part. I like them all and enjoy or just adapt to the new looks or Changes. I want to the line to continue and grow. The only way that will happen is for people to buy certain figures and like them. I appreciate your positively and Sharing those thoughts once again👍😁
This is THE definitive Sun-Man for me!! Im SO GLAD he looks so gorgeous and his wings are finally part of his back instead of being a neck piece. I love his skirt too! Its not like the furry trunks his original had NOR are they just regular trunks. He looks VERY cool!!

Some Masterverse figures do. Others don't. It would have cool to see a Sunman in the Classics. But Masterverse is what we got now. I Think he came out really good for the Masterverse design off the Vintage or Origins.
This Sun Man is awesome! I didn’t get the Origins one because it’s very underwhelming. But this is great. The colors, muscle structure, styling, wings … SO GOOD!
I appreciate the view! Yeah lots of people didn't care for the Origins Sunman in the line for different reasons. One of coarse was the Head he came with or the Whole idea of this Sunman series being mixed in the Origins were other Figures could have been. I get some of those arguments. I do like having a Character like Sun-man in the MOTU line. This Masterverse Sun-man came out really good. He has a tough look. The Wings and Colors they choose worked really good for His Character in this series👌

I thought that was awesome to have another version of He-man fight side by side with the regular He-man.Of course it was Sun-man. It's so cool to see These Characters 40 years later in The Motu line. This Masterverse Sun-man in Incredible looking👍
He looks awesome. I never knew about him as a kid but I can totally see him showing up in the Filmation series for an episode or two. He-man can travel to the other side of Eternia and hear stories of another hero and then they team up. Then the moral at the end of the episode can be about making new friends. I can also see him spinning off into his own show with his own badass intro looking all heroic.
Yeah he came out great for the Masterverse line. I didn't even know about the Sunman figures either as a kid aside that He-man looking figure that my friend called Black He-man that was actually a vintage Sunman then as i mentioned in during the review. Really Cool stuff. I have a feeling they are gonna try to cross of the Sunman series in the Masterverse more or maybe in the Revalation Cartoon like they are in the Origins comics. Lots of potential if it's done right👍
He looks excellent. Thanks for another review. The Masterverse figures just seem to have stopped coming over to the UK... not sure what the delay is. Not even seen any on Ebay.
Thanks for checking the review out as Always! It's the same situation here in the USA with these figures. They are hard to find and distribution is a Mess too. I buy them early from Ebay if they are available for a Reasonable price. Even then they are Marked up! I have been getting these early from a online Seller at a place called The paulmart store. But again with a Mark up. There is many Factory and Distribution problems still because of covid.
I prefer the Origins head because he looks like the SNL actor who does "Whats Up With That?" and the Fat Albert animation. But these Masterverse wings are super for sure!!!
Thanks for checking this review out! I like this head personally over the first release, Origins. I eventually got the Vintage inspired Origins Sun Man head from that three pack now. That reminds me of the figure my friend had that we played with in the day. I do like that actor in SNL. He's really funny! 👍
Greetings. This is late, but I bought Masterverse Sun-Man at my local Target last week when he was on sale. That's right, my Target put him on the shelf a year late. Anyway, I needed Sun-Man because I wanted my Masterverse New Adventures He-Man to wear different armor that had wings. Plus, the fact that Sun-Man and He-Man were made from the same mold meant that I could swap armors easily. Almost easily, I mean, because those armor clips can still be tight. Sun-Man's figure is decent by himself, of course. He has adequate accessories and is well-sculpted from head to toe. His knee joints are tight out of the box, though, so I must be wary when posing him.
It's great you found him now in Target on Sale! He is very difficult to find in certain stores and easy in other ones. I think the armor and wings are a really cool design and can be used to make other cool customs as you did. Yes, sometimes, armor pins or part itself is very tight. You can use hot water or try to soften it up with a blow dryer. Same with the tight knees or other joints. I think the Masterverse design this Sunman with his looks and accessories very well. Minor grips for me is the wings not articulating in and out and the arm guard being sculpted instead of being separate pieces other than that solid figure
I can understand those two issues as things that would have been cool for more Custom options. I'm surprised the wings didn't have A swivel Hinge joint to make the Wings fold backwards like The Classics. The Arm stinks the armGuards are part of the Forearm sculpt. I guest these were desicions to Keep the Extra tooling cost down without making him a Deluxe figure. But aside that stuff He is a really Awesome Masterverse Sunman figure for sure👍

I’m a bit behind on these videos (last week was premiere week for the new Quantum Leap and I’ve been preparing review videos on my own channel; the original was my favorite series of all time, so that sort of takes precedence over MotU, lol!) Anyway…now this is more like it! This Sun-Man figure looks awesome! At first I thought something looked weird about the skin tone, but you brought up the detail about how he gets his powers from the sun, and I think you’re right. His skin is probably supposed to have that golden glistening look (sort of like Luke Cage) because it’s unbreakable skin. And those wings look great, although they’re HUGE! Haven’t seen anyone review He-Ro yet, but so far this seems to be the best figure of the wave!

I'm glad they went with that option to show his unique Powers as a Sun ruler or God. The wing design is really cool. I like that the whole armor piece can come off and fit on the Origins Sunman. I have been on the Hunt for He-Ro but have not seen any release yet for that figure. As soon as I can get him. He will be up for Review!👍
Not sure what's up with Target, but a LOT of these figures are not showing up like they should for some reason. Website only shows em if you know the UPC numbers, but not showing up for actual purchase.
Thanks for checking out the video. There is a big supply chain issue still with many products including Masters of the Universe figures. I get most of the Stuff online. You can check BBTS or The paulmart store online. The Masterverse Sunman is still really hard to find in stores.
Thanks for Checking the Out! I think they did a pretty good job on the looks and design of this figure. I think the paint on the lips under the lights at certain angles makes the lip look like that from what I notice. It seems to be a normal looking Sculpt otherwise.
Nice to know the wings are attached to the armor and not the figure itself, makes it a bit more versatile for customs, although that gold wash on the skin might hinder it a tad. Still a cool figure, love the resdesigned elements compared to the origins.
Yes I really thought they were gonna gonna attach the wings to the body when I heard about a Sunman figure coming in the Masterverse line or even the early images until I now have it hand. I'm so glad they attached the Wings to the Armor. The gold wash is a really great idea for the figure. But yeah it does complicate things a bit when trying to use different African American Heads or parts we have available from certain figures in the Origins, Classics or Masterverse line for Customs.

I managed to get this one for a reduced price from my local Game store as while ago. Very cool figure. I also have the Origins Sun-Man as well. Though I think I prefer the more afro looking hair of the Origins one over the Masterverse figure's flat top hairstyle.
This Masterverse Sun-Man is a really great figure design. I like the look and style of the head and wings. I also liked having a Sun-Man in the Origins line as well. I did buy that later release flat head loose on eBay to put on the Origins Sun-Man. It looks much better👍
I've seen Sun-Man Origins figures with the fat top hair and I was wondering what release it was or if it was,a custom. Not too fond of the Origins figure's wings though. When it's on the figure it just looks like he's wearing a giant collar and it looks silly in my opinion. I know that's how it was on the vintage toy but still. Definitely gonna get that wing piece off etsy at some point.
@Nerdic Warrior The flat top Origins Sunman came in the Sunman three pack. I bought custom wings on etsy for my Origins Sunman figure, or you can use the Masterverse Sunman armor or wings like I showed in the video from what I remembered.
Oh Man I've been waiting for this video I mainly collect McFarlane DC Multiverse but I squeeze in MOTU Masterverse when possible and this is a easy hit.

Love the figure, especially the eyes & wings. THe history of Sun -Man they are not wings on back, but a phoenix on his shoulder. But this is the Masterverse and I am here for it. ☀👨🏾 ⚔🛡

I have seen other images from different artistic pics of the wings or Phoenix wing seperate or together. But like you mentioned! This is the Masterverse concept. He came out really Awesome I Think👍😁

Yes Most Of the Masterverse figures become clearance now for some reason. It depends how many Units of a certain Figure they ship to certain stores and then they sit on pegs.
Another badass masterverse figure looks class colours real vibrant ,will definitely pick him up and origins version when they hit the stores in dublin, as always great review 👍

I love how the Wings came out for this Sun-man. Yeah the Origins really stuck with that Vintage inspired simple tone that many of those figures had then. But this Masterverse Armor with the Wings does fit the Origins Sunman body and looks Awesome👍

The figure has a good design and it is really interesting as another character is added to the MOTU line. This shows the possibilities of adding different characters to the MASTERVERS line. If a mother created it to remove the trauma from her son of whether or not he could be a hero because of his skin color or not, it doesn't matter. It is an excellent figure that is worth having.

I'm happy to finnaly have a Sun-man in the Masterverse line and that can also go with my Classics. The Story of the Mom that created this figure and why is fascinating. There is so many cool figures and Definitely possibilities coming to the Masterverse and New Eternia line.

I do my best to get the Newer figures like this In Hand. Not always Easy or Cheap! But Thats what my Channel is about. Yeah I got rid of that Origins original Sunman head and put The champ Champ head on as you seen in the review. Much Cooler looking. The paulmart store has these figures now. But more Expensive! Hopefully these will come around in the next month or Two at retail👍

i took a Stratos. armor from the vintage clone & put on GreySkull Revekation or eternia line. swap work. some armor from the vintage cologne can't always fit.
I'm not a fan of the face/head sculpt....they could have done a lot better job. The lips look he's wearing black lipstick like Viscera from WWF. However, the armor and wings alone are worth buying this figure to customize the origins figure.17:44 that's a good look.

It's a good figure for the Masterverse line. Yes I talk about he's black! Because he's black and the History of The Sun-man character going back to the vintage one was about adding diversity in the action figure lines like MOTU. So of coarse more black kids like my friend who i spoke about had one as his Heman at the time its the first time a Sun-man has been introduced in a scale that can match the classics and Masterverse line.
WOW!!!!! This figure looks bad IMO. The face and head look terrible. Reminds me of Grace Jones in figure form. I think this Masterverse wave I'm passing on. Not a fan of the 4 in this wave.....
That's Understandable! There are Many Figures in the Masterverse line that are Hit or Miss for people. Or someone like myself can really like the looks and design of a Character in the Wave and someone else can't stand it! We have different tastes and opinions. It's all good. He looks like a re-design especially compared to his origins counterpart! Hopefully pms can keep him and Jitsu in stock while I save up more money. Great review Mc! I have some yellow stickers I can cut into small circles to fix exposed pegs on the back of the wings🤓✨✨ But yeah those wings and him having a temple faded haircut is neat! Speaking of bum-foot I had to heat some water and kind of grind the peg hole in Catra's left shoe because the peg would never go all the way in the port and she kept falling but issue solved and she stands very good now and the connection is tight just like her right foot!😊 Some of my figures came with qc issues but nothing I cant solve eventually. But yeah I definitely will pick this one up soon😊✨✨✨
Yeah he is Really redisigned compared to the Origins that tries to stay with more of the simpler Vintage design. I will probably also put some Yellow stickers or Thin yellow plastic pieces over those brass wing peg heads. The Sunman and Jitsu have been in stock at PM for a while. Many people don't want to pay double the Cost for these figures. I don't BlameThem! But they aren't pushing out to Retail that fast anytime soon. I'm use to certain QC issues that many of my figures have too! Always the joints and Ankles. Sometimes paint. But usually you can correct the problem or work around it like you did. These so called toys or Mass produced products. They are gonna have some issues Sometimes. Many collectors get this and just fix or also deal with it and are just happy to have the figure they usually find on sale. But others want the line to end and Hate everything that toy line puts our. Lol. Not a healthy way to view everything. Stuff isn't perfect. Hopefully you get your funds soon so you can pick these figures up sooner then Later! I'm looking for He-Ro now I'm surprised he still isn't out at Paulmart. Glad you dropped in and Really like the Sun- Man figure😁👍💯
@@Themanchlid Yeah He-ro is on my list as well but im sure pms is going to possibly have him before this month is over if not early week of october. Looking at Zodak and Cat-ra I assumed that Jitsu and Sun man would be in the same price range but Its whatever! And needless to say its a great little place to get in on a early release if needed ( like me!😂 ) thats why I think if you are a collector and love a certain line however you spend your money is on you and you are happy is all that counts👍✨✨ Anyways I still can't get over how good of a design Sun man turned out to be especially his vest having the holes for the wings instead of his back. I wish Cat-ra would've came with a alternate head so she could have a maskless display but its ok 👌 Atleast Sun Man has they extra engineering to save his display options✨✨✨

I have The Masters of the universe origins Zoar and Teela Two pack coming in from BBTS soon. I'm exited to see that set. Yeah they definitely designed Sun-man well for the MASTERVERSE line. It would be great if all the figures came with an alternative head like Teela and Viking He-man. It's funny how some do and many don't.. Catra would have been much better with a Second head without the Holes. But we got we got I guess! It all depends on the figures and how Mattel intended for that figure to look or be set up!

Yes I hear many people not happy with The prices of GI Joe or Neca figure. They are really getting costly. I just bought the New Neca Ultimate Warrior Predator online. 60 dollars. My God! I remember when their stuff was 27.99 online. The Masterverse and Mcfarlane figures are the Best so far with a fair amount of details and Affordable cost when they are in stores.

I prefer the Origins head because he looks like the SNL actor who does "Whats Up With That?" and the Fat Albert animation. But these Masterverse wings are super for sure!!!

Greetings. This is late, but I bought Masterverse Sun-Man at my local Target last week when he was on sale. That's right, my Target put him on the shelf a year late. Anyway, I needed Sun-Man because I wanted my Masterverse New Adventures He-Man to wear different armor that had wings. Plus, the fact that Sun-Man and He-Man were made from the same mold meant that I could swap armors easily. Almost easily, I mean, because those armor clips can still be tight.
Sun-Man's figure is decent by himself, of course. He has adequate accessories and is well-sculpted from head to toe. His knee joints are tight out of the box, though, so I must be wary when posing him.
It's great you found him now in Target on Sale! He is very difficult to find in certain stores and easy in other ones. I think the armor and wings are a really cool design and can be used to make other cool customs as you did. Yes, sometimes, armor pins or part itself is very tight. You can use hot water or try to soften it up with a blow dryer. Same with the tight knees or other joints. I think the Masterverse design this Sunman with his looks and accessories very well. Minor grips for me is the wings not articulating in and out and the arm guard being sculpted instead of being separate pieces other than that solid figure
I can understand those two issues as things that would have been cool for more Custom options. I'm surprised the wings didn't have A swivel Hinge joint to make the Wings fold backwards like The Classics. The Arm stinks the armGuards are part of the Forearm sculpt. I guest these were desicions to Keep the Extra tooling cost down without making him a Deluxe figure. But aside that stuff He is a really Awesome Masterverse Sunman figure for sure👍

I’m a bit behind on these videos (last week was premiere week for the new Quantum Leap and I’ve been preparing review videos on my own channel; the original was my favorite series of all time, so that sort of takes precedence over MotU, lol!)
Anyway…now this is more like it! This Sun-Man figure looks awesome! At first I thought something looked weird about the skin tone, but you brought up the detail about how he gets his powers from the sun, and I think you’re right. His skin is probably supposed to have that golden glistening look (sort of like Luke Cage) because it’s unbreakable skin. And those wings look great, although they’re HUGE! Haven’t seen anyone review He-Ro yet, but so far this seems to be the best figure of the wave!

I'm glad they went with that option to show his unique Powers as a Sun ruler or God. The wing design is really cool. I like that the whole armor piece can come off and fit on the Origins Sunman. I have been on the Hunt for He-Ro but have not seen any release yet for that figure. As soon as I can get him. He will be up for Review!👍
Not sure what's up with Target, but a LOT of these figures are not showing up like they should for some reason. Website only shows em if you know the UPC numbers, but not showing up for actual purchase.
Thanks for checking out the video. There is a big supply chain issue still with many products including Masters of the Universe figures. I get most of the Stuff online. You can check BBTS or The paulmart store online. The Masterverse Sunman is still really hard to find in stores.

Yes thats a point looking at the Colors they choose for the figure. I think in the Sunman Story there is God like Aztec Elements to his Origins.

Thanks for Checking the Out! I think they did a pretty good job on the looks and design of this figure. I think the paint on the lips under the lights at certain angles makes the lip look like that from what I notice. It seems to be a normal looking Sculpt otherwise.
Nice to know the wings are attached to the armor and not the figure itself, makes it a bit more versatile for customs, although that gold wash on the skin might hinder it a tad. Still a cool figure, love the resdesigned elements compared to the origins.
Yes I really thought they were gonna gonna attach the wings to the body when I heard about a Sunman figure coming in the Masterverse line or even the early images until I now have it hand. I'm so glad they attached the Wings to the Armor. The gold wash is a really great idea for the figure. But yeah it does complicate things a bit when trying to use different African American Heads or parts we have available from certain figures in the Origins, Classics or Masterverse line for Customs.
Would love to have those wings on Stratos.

I managed to get this one for a reduced price from my local Game store as while ago. Very cool figure.
I also have the Origins Sun-Man as well. Though I think I prefer the more afro looking hair of the Origins one over the Masterverse figure's flat top hairstyle.
This Masterverse Sun-Man is a really great figure design. I like the look and style of the head and wings. I also liked having a Sun-Man in the Origins line as well. I did buy that later release flat head loose on eBay to put on the Origins Sun-Man. It looks much better👍
I've seen Sun-Man Origins figures with the fat top hair and I was wondering what release it was or if it was,a custom.
Not too fond of the Origins figure's wings though. When it's on the figure it just looks like he's wearing a giant collar and it looks silly in my opinion.
I know that's how it was on the vintage toy but still.

@Nerdic Warrior The flat top Origins Sunman came in the Sunman three pack. I bought custom wings on etsy for my Origins Sunman figure, or you can use the Masterverse Sunman armor or wings like I showed in the video from what I remembered.

Yes Most Of the Masterverse figures become clearance now for some reason. It depends how many Units of a certain Figure they ship to certain stores and then they sit on pegs.

I love how the Wings came out for this Sun-man. Yeah the Origins really stuck with that Vintage inspired simple tone that many of those figures had then. But this Masterverse Armor with the Wings does fit the Origins Sunman body and looks Awesome👍

The figure has a good design and it is really interesting as another character is added to the MOTU line. This shows the possibilities of adding different characters to the MASTERVERS line. If a mother created it to remove the trauma from her son of whether or not he could be a hero because of his skin color or not, it doesn't matter. It is an excellent figure that is worth having.

I'm happy to finnaly have a Sun-man in the Masterverse line and that can also go with my Classics. The Story of the Mom that created this figure and why is fascinating. There is so many cool figures and Definitely possibilities coming to the Masterverse and New Eternia line.

I do my best to get the Newer figures like this In Hand. Not always Easy or Cheap! But Thats what my Channel is about. Yeah I got rid of that Origins original Sunman head and put The champ Champ head on as you seen in the review. Much Cooler looking. The paulmart store has these figures now. But more Expensive! Hopefully these will come around in the next month or Two at retail👍

i took a Stratos. armor from the vintage clone & put on GreySkull Revekation or eternia line. swap work. some armor from the vintage cologne can't always fit.

I'm not a fan of the face/head sculpt....they could have done a lot better job. The lips look he's wearing black lipstick like Viscera from WWF. However, the armor and wings alone are worth buying this figure to customize the origins figure.17:44 that's a good look.

Yeah, I noticed a few mistakes on a few of the Masterverse boxes so far.
This guy just keeps going on about how he’s “black”. Who cares if it’s not a good character or figure?
It's a good figure for the Masterverse line. Yes I talk about he's black! Because he's black and the History of The Sun-man character going back to the vintage one was about adding diversity in the action figure lines like MOTU. So of coarse more black kids like my friend who i spoke about had one as his Heman at the time
its the first time a Sun-man has been introduced in a scale that can match the classics and Masterverse line.
WOW!!!!! This figure looks bad IMO. The face and head look terrible. Reminds me of Grace Jones in figure form. I think this Masterverse wave I'm passing on. Not a fan of the 4 in this wave.....
That's Understandable! There are Many Figures in the Masterverse line that are Hit or Miss for people. Or someone like myself can really like the looks and design of a Character in the Wave and someone else can't stand it! We have different tastes and opinions. It's all good. But yeah those wings and him having a temple faded haircut is neat! Speaking of bum-foot I had to heat some water and kind of grind the peg hole in Catra's left shoe because the peg would never go all the way in the port and she kept falling but issue solved and she stands very good now and the connection is tight just like her right foot!😊
Some of my figures came with qc issues but nothing I cant solve eventually. But yeah I definitely will pick this one up soon😊✨✨✨
Yeah he is Really redisigned compared to the Origins that tries to stay with more of the simpler Vintage design. I will probably also put some Yellow stickers or Thin yellow plastic pieces over those brass wing peg heads. The Sunman and Jitsu have been in stock at PM for a while. Many people don't want to pay double the Cost for these figures. I don't BlameThem! But they aren't pushing out to Retail that fast anytime soon.
I'm use to certain QC issues that many of my figures have too! Always the joints and Ankles. Sometimes paint. But usually you can correct the problem or work around it like you did. These so called toys or Mass produced products. They are gonna have some issues Sometimes. Many collectors get this and just fix or also deal with it and are just happy to have the figure they usually find on sale. But others want the line to end and Hate everything that toy line puts our. Lol. Not a healthy way to view everything. Stuff isn't perfect. Hopefully you get your funds soon so you can pick these figures up sooner then Later! I'm looking for He-Ro now

Looking at Zodak and Cat-ra I assumed that Jitsu and Sun man would be in the same price range but Its whatever! And needless to say its a great little place to get in on a early release if needed ( like me!😂 ) thats why I think if you are a collector and love a certain line however you spend your money is on you and you are happy is all that counts👍✨✨
Anyways I still can't get over how good of a design Sun man turned out to be especially his vest having the holes for the wings instead of his back. I wish Cat-ra would've came with a alternate head so she could have a maskless display but its ok 👌 Atleast Sun Man has they extra engineering to save his display options✨✨✨

I have The Masters of the universe origins Zoar and Teela Two pack coming in from BBTS soon. I'm exited to see that set. Yeah they definitely designed Sun-man well for the MASTERVERSE line. It would be great if all the figures came with an alternative head like Teela and Viking He-man. It's funny how some do and many don't.. Catra would have been much better with a Second head without the Holes. But we got we got I guess! It all depends on the figures and how Mattel intended for that figure to look or be set up!

Anyhow , I slowed down like I said and stop collecting the g.i.joke line with hasbro and marvel legends they are getting ridiculous in price as mentioned Im staying with mattel. They have lots of goodness lined up for next year pms im sure will be loaded! 😁✨✨

Yes I hear many people not happy with The prices of GI Joe or Neca figure. They are really getting costly. I just bought the New Neca Ultimate Warrior Predator online. 60 dollars. My God! I remember when their stuff was 27.99 online. The Masterverse and Mcfarlane figures are the Best so far with a fair amount of details and Affordable cost when they are in stores.
