I got into U2 during the Joshua Tree. I love the LP Pop. I started falling out of love with them around All that you can't leave behind. Hated Beautiful Day and still do. Bought their last lp and I enjoyed it. I think their worst LP by far is No Line On The Horizon.
Pop and Zooropa werecsming my top 5 U2 Albums since their release, a lot an creativity and courage in those albums now U2 sounds like Coldplay revisited band.
My first exposure to U2 was on MTV videos. Then 39 years ago this weekend I saw them in concert at the US festival and was blown away how great they were. I was immediately a big fan. I really enjoyed their albums up to rattle and hum. I remember buying Achtung Baby listening to it once and giving it away. My favorite album is Joshua tree which is also a great place to visit. I saw them at the Los Angeles sports Arena on that tour but have not seen them since . It’s probably been 20 years since I’ve actually listened to a U2 album in it’s entirety.

I think the later Albums are a bit hit and miss but I am growing to them
