That’s completely unrelated but it’s impressive to see how your pronunciation of the regions improved over the years! Anyway, thank you so much Dani for taking the time to recap our pageant! We feel seen and appreciated!
I am French and every year I am in awe with the viewership: 7.4 million people watched, and it’s not even the most watched. Literally every country should take note because Miss France was a little televised pageant that turned into the most watched show of the year on the largest TV network here. Impressive, and I love our winner too ❤
I loved this recap !! Keep in mind not only the judges decide who advances or wins. The judges exclusively picks the top 15, for the top 5 the judges and the people at home voting together choose who advances to top 5 and also choose who wins and the runner ups. The cherry on the cake about Miss France is the TRANSPARENCY because as soon as the winner is crown, the organisation posts the official detailed results and ranking of each round, the top 15 and top 5 detailed ranking of how the judges voted and the audience votes separately! No riggory. By the way the winner is the first ever Miss France to be over 25 year old, she’s 34 ! And she is perfection. It was so cute because her first runner up was the youngest of the competition and she was the oldest
You don’t need to love beauty pageants to enjoy Miss France! It’s so entertaining, I wish they organize Miss Universe too, it would be a success for sure!
Angélique won the second she said "I'm here representing all the women who've been told it's too late to do something" in the first speech section. I t was simple and brilliant because she's proudly 34 and doesn't let her age be a problem, as it should be
My best liked Pageant, and I don't understand any French! It was so entertaining. I hope other countries and pageants take notice, and try to be this entertaining as well. 👍👏
Miss france has been around for so long and still managed to remain relevant compared to major international pageants. Beyond the high quality glamorous show the winners are diverse, the prizes are amazing and the winner becomes an overnight celebrity for life. This is what excited me about miss universe before and its sad to see that other pageants cant keep up. No wonder why the french girls dont go crazy over international pageants. Miss universe and other international pageants need a good balance between having a great queen and show to remain relevant beyond the pageant world
I'm not French, but having a Miss France of Maghreb origin is a BIG THING. Maghreb is a region of North Africa (please correct me if I am wrong!), and in France, the Maghreb people, they're mostly marginalized. Considering too NDPC is a less developed region with many minorities, like the Maghreb (a French friend explained that to me years ago). BTW I knew Martinique was gonna win the moment she won her regional title. SHE'S A QUEEEEN!!
Miss France is the best national for MU. This time, they even gave me Steve Jablonsky's My name is Lincoln in the reigning's queen final walk. Loved!!!
The energy of the girls during opening number is out this world Never saw amything like that. That BeeGees dance section was loaded with fun. Great personality from the girls. Cant believe they went from Donna Summer straight into Boney M . Music was well chosen and unexpected in a very good way. One correction, the past miss France dance on Madonna's hung up, not Kylie Dance secrion was really good. The cowboy section was just lacking energy, due to the choice of music - compare to the other groups. Carnival section was fun. Martinique remind me a bit of Zozi. The final 5 evenimg scene remind me of old school peagents What was interesting was how nervous and anxious the judges looked when the final 2 where left. What an amazing show
Maghreb is North Africa. A lot of french people have origins from north africa given the history between both countries. We never had a Miss France with north africa origin and hopefully one day soon.
Honestly I wish if Miss Universe continued with a top 30 they would do a swimsuit competition similar to how Miss France does it. It would make it really fun to watch.

It's usually because Miss France cannot guarantee that their December show will not overlap with Universe. Universe knows this so they allow the org to send a former queen. Sometimes queens opt to just be Miss France and not participate in an international pageant. If that's the case, they have to send someone else.
The new winner can either go to MU or not go anywhere because she is 34 so obviously she can't compete at MW. Btw they're yet to announce a representative for Miss World 2025 coming this April.
Why Cant Miss Universe Do this type of level of production seriously 2024 was the worst MU production stage everything was horrible felt rushed and not even the girls got to do a walk for the evening gowns and prelim gowns hardly any stage space
@teledessinsanimes3535 because this post is about Miss France and secondly Puerto Rico did not represented "Puerto Rico" in a national pageant so the case is different.
I bet she has awesome interview skills and a bubbling personality, but dayum, there should be a minimum for facial beauty in any national MU pageant. Did they really have to pick the least facially attractive of the entire bunch?! 😌
That’s completely unrelated but it’s impressive to see how your pronunciation of the regions improved over the years! Anyway, thank you so much Dani for taking the time to recap our pageant! We feel seen and appreciated!
Thank you for saying so! I listen to French language podcasts so I can try to improve.

They went through every decade.

Thank you for this lovely recap, Dani! Miss Île-de-France's costume is an ode to The Moulin Rouge! With love from Paris, xo Jacinda 💖
Thank you! I thought so but sometimes I guess incorrectly when it comes to national costumes.
Wow! They sure do know how to put on a show! This and that new Cosmo pageant. Amazing 🎉
May I say your singing voice is phenomenal. Get a record.

Yessss, I loved the energy of the first number too! Such a great opening!
It's nice to see the former Miss France winners wearing their original sashes. 🙂
Her reaction is very sweet
19:20 Those are real national costumes that are authentic and realistic! NOT those outlandish kinds that look like human-sized floats or cosplays. 🙂
not really... it used to be authentic costumes but not anymore , it's mostly more glamour and symbolic costumes than reals ones

France maintaining the standard. Beautiful girl, but TBH I thought that the 1st RU would win. 😮
The production of Miss France never disappoints.
This year's winner.......... not a fan ........
In that case double representation from Martinique. Territories should be represented separately. These are colonial holdings.
And why you don’t complain about puerto Rico ?
@teledessinsanimes3535 because this post is about Miss France and secondly Puerto Rico did not represented "Puerto Rico" in a national pageant so the case is different.
