This is my BMW E36 316i Compact with only 102hp from a mighty 1.6 liter Four banger M43 engine. Welded diff does alot offcoruse, but speed also helps ahah. - Авто та транспорт

Seeing you slide the compact really makes me wanna have one. I saw some 323ti's for sale, the have like 170 hp stock so should be more than enough 👌
Awesome video again☺ I hope to see some KTM content this summer 😎😍
E36 COMPACT = European "Hachi-roku". As the saying goes, if you learn to drift an underpowered car, you can drift anything. With a several hundred hp car you floor it, dump the clutch, and there u go, sideways... (ok, not that easy i now, but you get the point). To drift a weak car you need to develop more skills and techniques.... Playing with weight transfer, etc.... The reason I compared this car with the Hachi-roku is that japanese drifters say that the hachi is the best learning drift car. Low weight, low power (124 Hp, the basic 1.6 16V), but comes with LSD from factory 😁
can you build the e36 in to a full time drift car?
Inspiring video! What about suspensicon and wheel angles on your car?
we need that bmw e34 525 turbo/gretta boost back n o w .
This is awesome, it makes me want to do skids with my compact 316i at the track!
Do you have stock 3.38 diff?
Stock ratio yes, but welded diff :)
I actually bought e36 compact 1.6 a week ago and without welding the diff still drifts which surprised me
E36 Compact has E30 rear suspension as I understand. BMW essentially decided to put a bunch of real old parts in the new model of car, because that is how to make a cheap car. Generally speaking, this makes it a bad handling car. You don't want to rely on rear grip of this model if you are cornering at 200kph on the race track. But for drifting purposes, well that's just the characteristic you want. Easier loss of grip for a cheap build.
@@wtfronsson Only drifting with the compact, I have a more reliable car than bmw for racing xd
