Great video, thanks! By the way how much length and width of fabric did you use please (the original dimensions of the fabric before cutring to make that lab coat please thanks!)
I used 1 and half trouser length, but I'll advise you use 2 (because I had to manage). Remember a trouser length comes by length 60 with width of 45 inches
Thanks very much your tutorial is the best, my question is, i don't want the slit at the back, so what do i do, should i leave half as an inch at the back for ease or not?
Thanks for this beautiful tutorial and God bless you 🙏. Please ma'am when sewing this for male, are you going to make the back longer than front to overlap the shoulder part like the way we sew men shirt ?.
Thanks for the tutorial. Remember the "1 inch" you took from the neck width, the one you connected to the break point, you later cut the fabrics out at the 3 inches neck width while ignoring the 1 inch. Is it 1 inch not necessary? Kindly share more light ma
I'll advise you watch the video again especially towards the end, I added a slit to the back panel by adding extra inches to the back bodice. Thanks for watching 🙏
Pls ma for d front bodice on d neck line u said we should go in by l" and connect to d breaking point. But when cutting u did not cut that part, the connection b/w d bottom plackets is a bit confusing thanks
At the bottom part of the nine inches is where you place the bust circumference. Divide your burst by 4 plus 2 inches, then mark at the bottom part of the 9 inches.
Hi Bokomo, I want to how to cut i jazi lenkonzo ye Zion for both men and women I have been searching for the tutorials videos but I didn't find any, I don't know if you can help me with please
@@miss-claire when folding, what matters most is the hip or chest circumference not the shoulder. That means you are going to fold using the chest circumference, then follow the same procedure in this tutorial and remember to divide the shoulder by 2.
You could use a shirt or coat that fits the kids as a size guide. That's what I'm going to do for myself. I'm going to use a cardigan that has a similar fit as a lab coat.
Thank you for the video. I love the step by step explanation making it so easy to follow

Since you don't want slit, there's no need to leave half inch. Just cut the back on fold like the regular back bodice. Thanks for watching 🙏
Nice teaching. Pls can this method be used for children as well.?
Yes of course, provided you take the appropriate measurements. Thanks for watching 🙏

How do you get the measurements for the arms , you said nine inches but what is the bottom part in inches
At the bottom part of the nine inches is where you place the bust circumference. Divide your burst by 4 plus 2 inches, then mark at the bottom part of the 9 inches.
Ma, can I use jonkoso material for this lab coat?
@@olamidetemitope777 honestly, I don't know what is jonkoso. So I can't tell if you should use it or not
@@lollyteestitches8755 thanks but will italian crepe do?
@@olamidetemitope777 You can use crepe but I'll advise you tell them at the shop where they sell materials that you need the one for labcoat

Is two yards of fabric enough?
Yes it should be
Please is this a unisex lab coat?
Yes, it goes for both gender. Just that most times, male chest is broder than the hips
Please am confused about the back dress
Ok, I'll advise you watch again but this time slowly and pause it and replay
Mum,or ANY1 please kindly help me with measurements for a 7 years old child
I think you should type it on chrome, because I cannot predict a child’s measurements. Due to the fact that children of the same age may vary in sizes

Talk with fullstop plz don't talk first
Ok, noted.
