I love that little girl of yours. Besides being as cute as a button she is so funny. Her vocabulary and manners are outstanding for her age and that smile of hers would melt the coldest heart....just like her momma!
I actually loved the end where you showed y'all just being natural and real.. the boys always seem to be trying to be quiet and polite but I KNOW that's not your real life at all.. love your videos and your family! much love
This brings back memories of building a patio in our backyard with my dad and 3 brothers and me the only girl. We cleaned bricks for weeks. My dad paid me .05 a brick! I think I was 7 and my brothers where in high school. My dad still lives in the house and the patio is still there 50 years later.
I get the name of all the boys mixed up but I think it's bret (red shirt) that boy is a work horse! Bravo Red shirt and Black shirt for helping your mom and dad so much!!
I just love your youngest son, he’s always helping his dad in almost every video you do! So proud of him! I have a 25 yr old son, it’s like pulling teeth for him to help me lol. Thanks for another great video! Meg I love watching you make dinner, lunch etc! ❤
As I'm working away in my kitchen... cleaning away.. I have you guys sitting on my CLEAN counter.. as I listen away to your sweet banter & giggles, & frogs. You are my extended family. What beautiful vibes you all send out into the world. You serve humanity in ways you will never know. 🙏 🤲
I like how you’re healing your land. Not everyone has virgin land to set up. You’ve got your share of garbage stuff that, not only have you found a use for the old bricks, but the mortar too. Love your work (obviously so does the local fauna)
Always enjoy seeing your family work together to improve your homestead. Years ago my family removed mortar from used bricks to expand our driveway because my husband said “ free bricks was cheaper then gravel “ so the children and I worked most of one summer together . All these years later we still look back on the time spent working together fondly. Keep making memories with your family.
Meg has such a great attitude!! I love how she comes up with meals and makes it all work! It is refreshing to see everyone praying together before meals! Meg, my mother had four boys and by the time she was 50 her hair was white! You seem to handle it so well!
I laughed so hard when Brett made all the commotion dropping his dishes in the sink and then when he asked "shall I blow my horn?" And I don't know when the last time was that I saw Jack smile as much as he did when he was playing with those ice cubes. Those kids can be so hilarious LOL
I love watching you folks I love watching your children run around without shoes on. Reminds me of my childhood. Also I love watching your children just being children
An herb garden is a fantastic idea and so needed for Meg the Chef!!! So happy that the project is beginning and glad that you all are blessed with the bricks to repurpose. Buggy is so helpful and hearing her say, I help, is music to a mama's ears. Have a lovely day y'all!
I always drop in here when I need a dose of wholesomeness to lift my day - and you never disappoint! Lovely to get a little snippet of the kids being kids, too. We see a lot of the most adorable Buggy in the world chatting, but don't hear the boys so much.
Your "Hot pockets " are what other people call Hand Pies or Pasties, depending upon where they are from. They are also very good stuffed with fruits and a sweet glaze on top. Yum! Good memories
@@beccagee5905 some are but not all. Probably depends on how your grandma made them or if they are for a occasion or using up leftovers. I've had them both ways.
Megs Garden , that has such a delightful ring to it. Can’t wait to see your outside creativity 👍 I never had a girl however I DO know that with boys… give ‘em a hammer & something to bang on & they’re happy critters 😂. Or a wrench 🔧 & something to take apart! The older boys are pretty much creative in the work shed. Yes, repurpose/ reuse… a firm believer 😍 And your family dynamics is utterly amazing 🤩 Have a great day. 👵🏻👩🌾❣️
I so loved this video,! back in the day an old brick bank was torn down in the area my late husband worked , I asked him to pick up at least 20 bricks a day when he got off work, he did so for at least a week . I wanted to build a walkway from my shed. I would sit with a chisel to get the mortar off until it was done. The things our husbands do for us are a special lifeline of memories. It brought that back to me ! Meg , I know you will be happy to have your herb garden using those . ❣️
I...don't like ...spiders nor snakes....and old brick piles are their sometimes "home"!..and I too have cleaned morter off of old bricks...kinda' theraputic ...in a way!
I love that you have a house full of boys and then that absolutely precious little girl! I know she has Daddy and all those boys wrapped around her little finger, oh I’m sure momma too. So so precious.
If you need more bricks you could go to a brick place and many times they dump old unused bricks away from the good ones and will let you load the unused ones in your truck. I think Buggy could be the next Shirley Temple, she is so cute and smiley.❤❤❤❤
Looking forward to seeing Meg’s herb garden!! It’s awesome that the whole family works towards making Meg’s long time dream a reality! That dough looked amazing Meg!! What’s your secret??🥰❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦
Love seeing the family pull together to make something special for Meg. She deserves the love. Showing the noise of the boys was funny. Reminds me of my house. Been babysitting for over thirty years, and sounds from the children let me know I'm blessed. Blessings from Kentucky.
That's a lot of bricks! It's so sweet of you guys to get the bricks ready for Megs herb garden! It seems like Corbin always helps! Wow, that's a huge frog! Wow, those homemade chicken and cheese pockets sure look great Meg! Nice pile of cleaned bricks! Thanks for this video Hollar family! Normal kids! They don't care if you are trying to do a recording of the end of the day for a video, they just do what they want to do.
🎉And yes, jumping from 142 k to 144,000 , it's about time folks! Share with your good friends, you know you love Hollar family stuff and learning from Ben and Meg. And that bundle of wonderful kids❤❤🎉
HA....sounds like a home full of love with the ice noise, pounding on the pans, kicking the box😊 Y'all are not the only one's who have found treasures. My husband's work buddy wanted to remove his back porch. He jack hammered it out. We made 5 trips with our truck, and removed all the broken concrete (rocks) to our place. We've been gradually working on our dam emergency run off. It washed away last year. Eventually it'll be fixed, the angles of the dam make it difficult to use the tractor completely. We also have a pile of brick, picked it up before my sister's house sold. Apparently, the contractor who built her house left extra just in case brick needed replacing. We left 14 brick in the garage for the new owner, and came home with 250 to 300. I have to say life is good....lot's of work being done to prepare for planting....wooohooo!
It was kind of perfect to have the chicken with all the herbs, same day as starting the herb garden. The family knows mom will use them. And maybe a pretty flower or too, for beauty and the bees.
Amazing family project, which will be beautiful & creative because that’s what Meg is. As a grandma, I’m in awe of your skills! Wonderful family working together! Blessings to all 🤗💜🇨🇦
Wow! That was the biggest frog I've ever seen. I noticed you have painted the shed white and green. It needed painting and looks so much better. Check that off the list. ✔️ Can't wait to see Meg's herb bed made and then planted. 🌿🌱🌿 Take care and God bless.
As always Meg you make cooking so easy and those hot pockets omg yum. Meg, can't wait to see what you do for your herb garden, Ben talk about labor intensive with the bricks. Your right one man's trash is someone's treasure. Don't know about where you live, but here I go to the dump on certain days and so far I picked up a nice Wicker outdoor furniture set in excellent shape and a couple of old (real wood) dressers and redid did them best of all free. Nice seeing boys will be boys 😃Blessings to all of you. 😊🇺🇲
Corbin is your mini-me, Ben. He is out there helping every single time you have a project and is tireless. He'll be able to run his own farm by the time he is 16 with all he is learning from you!
3D bumblebee 😂, I thought it was in my house ! Frogs are like canaries, they are early indicators of dangers in an area. Ants moving their home into higher ground could mean storms coming.
That was a big frog, but I can beat you for ginormous amphibians. Rangers at a national park near where I live recently found a giant cane toad which weighed 6 pounds. No, I am not exaggerating. It was massive, and they have named it Toadzilla... Yeah, yet another weird Australian creature.
we do a similar recipe with the chicken but we use pasta dough, not mayo but creamcheese with the chicken, same method to wrap it in pasta then boil the packages, very nice with a plate of fries
Ya'll are such an awesome family! I love how you work together and help each other, always makes me a bit teary eyed when the boys are looking after Buggy, she's a lucky young lady!🥰
The weather won't last. At bat house would help you get rid of some of the flies that are bothering you and the animals. It is good to use what you have. God has placed everything we need close by. Sometimes we don't recognize it because we are so used to looking at it. I am glad you see bricks as a resource. It might be more work to gather and clean them, but it will save you some money. The frogs are a great resource too. They eat your bugs.
Before hot pockets ever came on the market I used to make stuffed buns like you except most of the time mine were hamburger based instead of chicken. What that means is I'm old.😮 It was very strange but somehow we got into the habit of having those whenever we went to the drive-in.
Nice pile of bricks!! Can’t wait to see the new herb garden! Loving the homemade hot pocket idea! I made meatloaf in the crockpot with air fried potatoes. Too tired for my second vegetable lol. Coffee for dessert ☕️ I bet those bullfrogs keep the slugs and bugs in check too. Frogs have long tongues, like whips, that roll out and catch flying bugs too. Wapow…gulp 🐸 😆😆😆
I have clay bricks stacked in my back yard. Some to finish my patio and some to make an outdoor grill and rocket stove. Hope I get it done! You're right, one man's trash is another man's treasure!
Love you guys, it’s just real life with teenagers. Great work. I think I’m going to have to make some of those “hot pockets”. Maybe a bbq beef for my husband’s lunches.
