Ngl a Hybrid car would be amazing in restarts with the torque and if they keep a V8 in it, it can add more horsepower, but have a whine up and distinctive noise kinda like a V8 Supercar.
The 2014 engines weren’t really a low growl, they were much more pitched because their rev range was higher. But I agree. Two different sounds, equally as good
People will always complain about the new cars, but this really gives you an appreciation of their speed and sound, and the atmosphere at the track in general. It’s awesome!

But yet they say that nascar drivers are not athletes. Other sports your life isn't put at risk near this much and not just anyone can drive these cars around this fast this long. Would like to see a pro football player try it and see how long before they tap out.
I mean i agree with the risk. But not anyone can pick a basketball or football and just play in the nba or nfl… it goes both ways yunno… you gotta practice that all it is

Hybrid means they can keep a v8 while maintaining fuel restrictions. It doesn't change the sound

i think the cup cars sound just as good as the did in 2014 now that the 550hp package is gone. love that low growl

Michigan 250 would not be Gen 7 cars. They're Xfinity series cars which are not Gen 7 cars.
