What? I go into suspended animation for 6 weeks and I come back to this? I've been married 28 years (After dating my wife for 5 years) I can tell you it's wonderful. It takes work (On both parts) and a little "Meeting in the middle" but it's a very good thing. I feel for you selling. I just sold a copy of Brave and the Bold #28, graded 4.0 to pay for our son's college tuition. He appreciates it as does your wife. As collectors, we often talk about having the ability to raise cash with our collection. You did just that. You're a noble man and your worth is much more than any part of your collection. I am fresh out of DD1's to sell, so no luck there, but selling this cap 2 allows me to keep a lot of other cool books (of lesser value) -- I decided I preferred letting one big fish go, instead of selling more middle fish or little fish.
Hope marriage doesn't mean the end of The Comics Preacher collecting comics and doing videos. I really enjoy your vids and your taste in books. But may your your new chapter in life be a fruitful one. Just don't stop being who you are.

Both sold already, but I opted to not offer the book to my buddies so that I could get full value on the books without having to cut anybody a good deal. call me selfish :) And thanks for the congrats. I have to watch your recent videos, I am wayyy behind.

Thanks man, considering I haven't even shipped the Cap 2 yet, it is hard to imagine ever trying to reaquire a copy, but who knows. Cap 2 has been a tough book for me because I like it for the WWII aspects; the 2nd appearance of Cap is less important to me. That's part of the reason why I decided to cull it from the herd. It will be missed though, and I doubt I will ever get another chance and a copy in my wheelhouse.
