What is the PPDT in SSB Interview?
Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PPDT) is a screening test in the SSB. In this test, the candidates are shown a blurred picture for 30 seconds. Based on that, candidates are allotted 4 minutes to write a story on the image with details about what led to the situation, what is happening now, and the possible outcome.
The candidates are also requested to mark all the characters seen in the box on the left side of the paper encircling the position of the central character in the picture. The details of the nature, such as Age, Sex (Male, Female, or Person), and Mood (positive, negative & neutral), should also be mentioned. The candidates will also be allotted 1 min extra to write action before starting the story.
After writing the story, candidates are divided into groups of 10 - 18 based on their strengths and are told to narrate their story individually. After completing the stories of all the students, a group discussion is conducted in which students discuss the story & try to come up with a familiar story of PPDT. After this, one person is chosen among the group to narrate the usual story.

Sham is 27 years Old, he is lives in seempari village. He doing his job as a teacher in a private school in district. One day in his way of going school he saw a girl try to stop him for help and ask that she can’t get any auto or bus and it’s very urgent to reach exam centre for his civil services exam at this Shyam agree toh help her and on his scooter he dropped the girl. Then the girl thanked to Shyam and then Shyam returns back to school.
Amit was a businessman , 30 yr old . Once he was on his way to the market he saw his classmate on the roadside. He then greeted Nisha and they both decided to go for a coffee. Amit and Nisha then discussed about their school and school memories. Amit then told Nisha that he was going to their school for promoting his product about AI tool used for real life experience for science experiments in the next month. He then gave more details about the program and asked Nisha to join if she is interested. He also explained her the benefits students will get if this product is used by their school. Amit also told her that she can involve more people for this venture. Nisha agreed to Amit, they worked on it and their venture was successful

Payal was 26 years old .she was a trafficepoliceofficer . Rahul ride his scooty in a wrong way and he did not wear a helmet too . Suddenly a stone 🪨 came in his scooty tyre and this felt him a buffer and he saved from almostly to fell down . Payal saw all this and she instructed him that hedidi not ride his bike whenhe had not a helmet and he was in his wrong way this is the one sided way and the other side way was another side . And please focus on riding when you do only ride . Rahul listened everything carefully and he thanked payal to give him some tips and to instruct him ..

The picture is quit clear i perceived a male and a female character in the age profile of 25 year old both are in positive mood.action droping a girl to her workplace.william is the central character of my story.
william 24 years old boy is working in a multinational company.today morning when he was going to his office he notice that his friend sunita is standing on the road side.he asking the reason then she said that she is waiting for the bus but no bus is coming for approx 0.30 hour and today she has an urgent meeting in her office and it is important to her to reach at her office on time .after that william told him that he will give lift her at her office because both have nearby office.after that william drops sunita to her office on time and after that he also reaches his own office on time.
Ram was 22 year old, Recently completed his graduation from SPPU in mechanical stream. Doing job in Ashok Leyland pune as a service engineer. One day while going to job he saw a lady who was in the trouble. So he stopped there scooty in front of lady and asking problem. Then she told his car get break down and she is getting late. Ram took her on his scooty and reach the spot where car get breakdown. He repaired car with the equipment having inside a car. After starting car she thanks ram and went for their destination. Ram also went for their job.

Ricky who is a software developer in Infosys, with his friend neha they observed the lackness of the people not wearing helmets. Which leads to some serious accidents. So they designed a helmet which has sensor connected to the ignition system of the two Wheeler and designed there helmet in such a way that if the rider won't wear the helmet the bike will not start. So they went to local companies for supporting them to have this feature in their helmets which will help people form major accidents.there innovation was accepted by the company and they earned a lot if respect and fame for their innovative and life saving idea. They also further developed their idea and did some modifications to improve the quality of material and make the helmet water resistant. They were awarded by their cm and achieved a lot of success
Raju a 35 years old went to his office.On his way he saw his sister Kamala, she was 31 years old.She stood on a side of the road to pick a bus for shopping but she did not get any bus.Suddenly she saw her brother who came by scooter from home to office.She stopped him.Raju took his sister on the scooter and dropped her on a mall which was nearby his office.Kamala thankful to his brother.After that Raju reached office and he was very happy to help his sister.

Rajesh was working as pharmacist in benipatti .He was having his own shop located in Benipatti .He was going to shop because new stock of medicine is coming within one hour .After one 1 km .he saw a lady asking for lift because bus was not coming from1. Hour .He talk to her and got to know she had to attend important interview in Madhubani for job of teacher He called anothers staffs .They went to store and made complete space for new stock of medicine. He drop lady out of the school before given time .In evening he went there arrange medicine and recieve call she was selected for job.
Shani 22 years old got a call letter from NDA interview for which he worked very hard in his graduation . On the way he saw a girl Aradhya waiting for the bus the seeming anxious than shani asked her where she wants to go than she tells that she is also going to the same ssb center for the interview than shani picks her and goes to his destination
