What is the PPDT in SSB Interview?
Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PPDT) is a screening test in the SSB. In this test, the candidates are shown a blurred picture for 30 seconds. Based on that, candidates are allotted 4 minutes to write a story on the image with details about what led to the situation, what is happening now, and the possible outcome.
The candidates are also requested to mark all the characters seen in the box on the left side of the paper encircling the position of the central character in the picture. The details of the nature, such as Age, Sex (Male, Female, or Person), and Mood (positive, negative & neutral), should also be mentioned. The candidates will also be allotted 1 min extra to write action before starting the story.
After writing the story, candidates are divided into groups of 10 - 18 based on their strengths and are told to narrate their story individually. After completing the stories of all the students, a group discussion is conducted in which students discuss the story & try to come up with a familiar story of PPDT. After this, one person is chosen among the group to narrate the usual story.

I perceive from the story Mukesh a 15 year boy studies in class 10 in his village school in assam. One day his science teacher taught them about various farming methods to get good yield. He learned about mixed farming and crop rotation and benefits of organic farming. After learning he comeback home and told his father about that. His father aggreed and started organic farming and crop rotation method to get maximum yield. Really results surprised every villagers and praised Mukesh for it. From next year onwards every one in village started organic farming.

In my views of the story is there is a six character of my story three male and three female. Ramesh is the main character of my story he is 19 years old and positive mode he is study in college 2 nd year intown area his father live in village and do farming and farming is the purpose to produce income. In holidays of two days he went to village and see that all the farmers includig her father also sad because of not good crops ramesh going to his father why this happened so because use of chemical fertilizers so he says that all villagers you are must be doing mixed farming, crop roation also understand that the importance of oragic farming to produce more crops also byer were not any eefect for health all this farmers were doing like that and then produce high crops all were very happy 😊 thanks everybody 🙏🙏

Theme__ solving water problem
I perceive 6 characters in my story. Ram is a 22 year old callage Student. When he came into his house he saw that water problem increasing in the village . Solve this problem he met his village sarpanch and told him about this . He and village sarpanch decided made some ponds and connect him near canel by pump set injan. He made some ponds by helps with villagers and the water came in ponds to help pump set . The Villagers were happy and walked around the ponds daily.

Ram is a young dynamic boy, lives in a joint family in a village in West Bengal. The primary source of income for his family was agriculture. After College he used help his family in farming. He learned farming from his parents. He was Cheerful and lively during the harvesting. They loaded the crops in the truck and went to APMC Market, there Ram took the initiative, bargain and negotiated the best price for the harvest. Seeing the confidence his father was proud of him.

Tarun , 25 years old . He was complete his graduation from agriculture. After completing graduation he come to his village. Then he help his father in agriculture. He do organic father. By seeing this all other villagers also started organic farming and Tarun help them. They got more profit from organic farming. All the villagers are very happy.

Ram who is 20 years old do little things like fishing collecting woods for the family and his father does farming. Ram also want to do farming and help his father but his father thinks he is not ready and requires patience and hardwork one day while working in field his father's plough got broken and was about to get it repaired but as ram loves fixing mechanical thing so he got it fixed with lot of hardwork and his father recognised his work now they both do farming and output has increased.

Mohan a 20 year farmer. Mohan has a some land. In his land he farmed paddy. His father is cultivating the land and mohan check the availability of water because in this season raining is very low. Mohan made a canal and take the water from Lake to his farming land. After irrigating the land he seeding the paddy (rice) and then the shortage of water for farming is end.
